This is awesome in history and the tour is great inside, sometimes they even work on a bell, very famous worldwide for the work - little souvenir shop with some traditional gifts

Our kids loved learning about how bells are made. Many interesting insight and displays from this famous bell manufacturer.

One of the most unique things in Innsbruck. The little museum which explains bell making was fascinating. We thought this was one of the highlights of Innsbruck

Its quite far off, almost at the edge of the city, but its a wonderful museum. There are bells of all sizes and sounds. Besides exhibiting a fair number of them, one also learns about the art of bell making through the centuries. It's a fascinating place-the effort of the Grasmayr family, who have been making bells for over four centuries. There is a small shop too where you can pick up a bell as souvenir.

It tolls for THEE! :)

I went in not expecting much, but was blown away by this wonderful old foundry, museum and shop. The same family has been making the beautiful bronze bells for more than 400 years and the tour is fabulous. Very hands on and great for kids of all ages - you can 'gong' several different types of bells to hear the differences, take a whack at the wishing bell, step back into time into the foundry (still in use) and listen to their own glockenspiel. The bell garden is so nice as well.

Their gift shop was also one of my favorites - wonderfully unusual bells and many other items, mostly in bronze and brass.

This is a must-see in Innsbruck, and located along the Hop-On Hop-Off Tour Bus route.
