“Remarkable bronzes”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

More or less incorporated with the Tyrolean Folk Art Museum is the Court Church of Innsbruck. The bronze statues are incredible and the "tomb" is very impressive.

“they light torches at night”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

I feel like I was in a castle, and not in a church.
All larger than person figures have torches; and what a surprise - they light torches at night. You have to pay during the day visit entring thru museum, but sometimes church is open from the street, and you do not need to pay then.

“A hidden gem”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

Literally we walked past this a few times not knowing that this was the church. We happened to go into the Tyrolean VolksMuseum which also turned out to be the entrance for the Court Church. This place is really a masterpiece and should not be missed. My three year old loved the life sized statues and I loved the carvings in the tomb. When you go through the Volksmuseum you can also gain entry to the second floor of the church which gives another amazing view.

“Wonderful”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

A fascinating church graced with a beautiful cloister. Well worth the time to inspect the central tomb and the rows of life-size metal statues lined up in honour.
The entrance is tied in with the connected Volksmuseum next door, which can be confusing at first.

“A European Masterpiece”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

The cenotaph of Emperor Maximillian is breathtaking in a lovely church. You have to pay to enter, via the Museum next door, and you get to see much of the building. If you buy the joint ticket that covers the Museum entry as well you get to come out at high level in the church for a birds eye view of the cenotaph.
