I went away for a romantic short break with my partner , and when booking the hotel I went for this place based on price and rating. The price was incredibly cheap for what we got, and booking in advance/shopping around really helped us. The hotel were also fantastic with requests, and I got a swift reply by email within a few days. The hotel's location is a huge selling point; it's right by the river and right around the corner from the Old Town, and about 10 minutes away from the main shopping district.
When we got into the hotel, it looked very modern, and the staff were helpful and very friendly. The room itself was also very nice, and the mural on the wall was really attractive ; it added a little bit of character that you don't really see in the chain hotels. The pool was also good, but we couldn't use the sauna as it didn't seem to be switched on. Still, it was a good way to relax. We also took advantage of the breakfast buffet, which offers a good variety of food, and echoing the other comments on here, the scrambled egg is quite something.
One tip: the rooms can get quite hot at night, even in the winter. One reason for this tends to be the radiators - we manged to switch ours off by using the knob on the right, which helped a lot.
Generally, this is a great hotel, with helpful staff and a great location, making it a fantastic all-rounder for those looking for a nice place to stay.
