Our group of seven family members spent two nights at Hotel Weisses Kreuz in early July. Our rooms were clean and well-appointed and you couldn't ask for a better location - right in the centre of the old town within minutes of many fabulous sights. Our rooms faced the pedestrian street and while it was quite noisey, it allowed for wonderful views of the Alps and the surrounding city buildings. Breakfast was great - everything to get your day started right. This was my second stay at Hotel Weisses Kreuz and I would recommend it to others.

Great location... BUT!! As others have noted, the front rooms are very noisy if you have the window open (and in summer, because of the lack of A/C, you'll need to). The lovely, helpful staff lent me an electric fan. Otherwise a friendly, characterful hotel in a good, central location.

Room Tip: Single rooms are very small. If you like your sleep, don't get a room overlooking the street (w...

Cute, quaint, great location, tiny rooms but nice updated bathrooms - but completely uncomfortable on summer nights due to lack of AC. My room was facing the main pedestrian street as well, which meant I couldn't leave the window open to let in what little breeze there was because of all the street noise. As much as I wanted to like it, it was (luckily only) one miserable night.

In the fall/spring, it may be an option - again, great location and nice breakfast, although I can't say that price was all that good of a deal.

We stayed here for the night while driving from Venice to Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. We reserved a parking spot in advance and had little trouble finding the garage or making the few minute walk to the hotel, although it would have been easier if they had emailed us a map showing the way. It was especially nice to be able to get up in the morning and walk around the old town out the front door.

The hotel and our room were very nicely decorated. The staff were friendly. The free included breakfast had fresh fruit, a cheese selection, various breads and juices, tea, coffee, etc. It was great.

The two shortcomings; (1) the internet access from our room and the breakfast area were poor although it worked Ok near reception; (2) we could hear someone snoring in the next room when we arrived and they were then loud in the morning.

Very much enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Our room at the back of the hotel was compact and we had doors that opened to a small sunny balcony (great for drying clothes!). Nice bathroom and excellent breakfast, mostly cold but there were cooked eggs in the shell provided. Lots of choice in family type dining rooms to have breakfast and fascinating artefacts. Very helpful and very friendly staff. Wifi was best in the reception area but I found if I sat on the step outside my room on the 4th floor I had full use of the Internet. This was our second time in Innsbruck after a 30 year gap and it was a wonderfully located hotel to revisit some favourite places for e.g. Patscherkofel (tremendous views), the nearby beautiful towns of Sistrans and Igls and just generally sightseeing. It is an old historic hotel with wooden stairs (and a lift) so its not one of the hotels with all the mod cons. I loved it. P.S. we visited the Alpine Zoo on a very hot day and there was nothing to see ! All the animals were hiding in the shade I think.

My husband & I stayed at this hotel twice within a month as our daughter was living nearby. It is in a great location within walking distance of all the attractions in the old town. Really friendly, helpful staff. The twin room we had was quite small & cramped but the next time we had a double room, much bigger with a small sitting room. Well priced. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay there again. Only negative is that we had a front room both times, which were quite noisy as we needed to sleep with windows open. Would suggest requesting a rear room.

Room Tip: Ask for rear room as fronts onto noisy thoroughfare.

It couldn't be in a better location. We were 3 people in a room and it was perfect. One double bed and one single bed in a different room (without doors but in a different space, almost a room). A very complete breakfast. Decoration very warm and integrating with the surrounding.
