We stayed at this hotel for one night en route back to the UK. It was clean, comfortable and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 15-20 mins walk to the old town, but there is a tram stop about 2 mins walk away which takes you into the centre in 5 minutes or so. The rooms are small, but perfectly formed, and it was ideal for a stop-over and to see Innsbruck for the afternoon. It took about 20 mins to get to Innsbruck Airport and the hotel was MUCH cheaper than any of the other hotels in Innsbruck, therefore perfect for our needs. I would recommend this hotel for that very reason.

we visited in march for a skking holiday, the staff were fantastic and very helpfull, the location is a little out of the main town but still only a 10-15 min walk or 2 mins on the train, there were plenty of fantastic reasturants around the hotel, only downside was 30 mins to and hour away.

beware of the bathroom doors they are vry seathrough so quite inpersonall.

The website really oversells this hotel. My room looked nothing like the photos on the website. In particular, the bed was was way too small for two adults. Someone was drilling and hammering at 10AM on a Saturday morning. And the front desk had no knowledge of when the ski bus arrives.

Its not 4 star, its 3, and that's OK. Biggest issue was the non-smoking rooms are on the same floor as smoking rooms. Non-smokers know that smoke gets in everywhere and it gets under the door and if I'm still smelling smoke when I wake up in the morning - its not a non-smoking room!
The other issue was that the "double" meant two singles pushed together. This has been done before but a request for a sheet over the top to help minimise the chasm was initially met with a "sure" by the friendly front desk helpers but was later dismissed by the incredibly rude and abrupt owners who were trying to blame all of Austria for the way they do things. We stayed for another week in another part of Austria and didn't have any of these issues. They couldn't manage a sheet but eventually after a full blown argument we ended up moving rooms to a "french" bed - a big single. These are not the right people to be running a hotel.

You get what you pay for (hopefully), and that's what I got from this hotel. Stayed for five nights for relaxing in the mountains and sightseeing, and the hotel served its purpose as a base. My room on the top floor was small, but had a great view from the dormer window, if you were standing up... Staff were pretty pleasant, room was well cleaned, and the location was a bit out of the centre, but the trams made it ok. Nothing was wrong with it, so have no complaints.

The staff is friendly and the hotel is fine if you want to wake up at 6:30. No air conditioning so you have to leave your window open in the summer and it is very noisey. Even though it is not on a main road, because of the mountains you can hear every car go by and we happen to be here on garbage day, so we were awoken with that pleasant noise. Also they tried to be ultra-modern with the bathrooms and there is only a sliding opaque door that gives little privacy. My least favorite hotel in two weeks of travel.

Hotel was small very clean and due to road closure surprisingly quiet

The breakfast was good and one could self serve from 6.15 am

The hotel management Mr and Mrs susan Binnder are a pair of shockers

One colleague wanted to leave ady early ,no you must pay for the pre booked 4 days

Can I have an extra pillow No !!! all our rooms 50 are full we have no more pillows.

Finally I need to print out airline boarding card, receptionist relunctantly agreed then she and I were given the Austrian Cellar treatment by Susan Binder

She screamed it was a business their data could be compromised etc, shouting to stop using the printer just as it finished printing the first of two boarding cards.

Marco the husband came back from his key task walking the large smellie dog and then gave the poor receptionist another 2nd bauling out.

All very unpleasant and unexpected.

I found this all very unusual behavior and extremely rude. Avoid this hotel like the Plague !!!
