“Close to old city, quiet and comfy”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

A short walk (5 mins) into the old city centre, this hotel is well appointed, quiet, spacious and the staff very helpful. A great base for the old city without forgoing modern amenity. This was our first night in Europe, starting tour the next morning and the hotel was a relief to set the tone for the tour.

This is not a fancy hotel but it is well appointed with large rooms (ours faced the street and had opening balcony windows). The decor was sparce but satisfactory and the building was well maintained but not elaborate in any way. It is just down the street from the quaint town square which was fabulous. The food in the hotel was excellent as was the decor! Bright outdoor feeling with skylights overlooking the alps! Exquisite city and good hotel choice!

Stayed here with a tour group, and found the rooms to be newly refurbished, and clean. Beds were comfortable, and baths were very clean and quiet. Room had a nice separate vestibule, for hanging and folding clothes ( and I imagine dropping wet gesr during ski season. My only compliant was they gave your cheap pouches of shampoo and a poor quality (harsh) hand soap. i always bring my own soap, so no problem for me.
There is top floor spa with a dry sauna and eucalyptus steam was wonderful. my husband and I sat in the hot tub (in the rain) one evening, looking over the rooftops and cathedral- memorable. I even booked a massage, and the young woman who provided it was really good and changed only €65. Enjoyed very much.
Best of all this hotel is just a few steps from old town Innesbruck which is full of cafes and great shopping.

My husband and I were very impressed with the hotel - the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, everything was very modern, and the location was great. We had read reviews about the loud rooms so we requested a quiet room, which they honored by putting us on the top floor and facing away from the street. I didn't noise from other rooms or from outside. The rooftop jacuzzi was perfect after sightseeing, although I did wish it was open later than 9 pm. Breakfast was also great with lots of options above and beyond the typical European spread, including make to order omelets. We stayed at the hotel on a Saturday night and were able to find free street parking just steps from the hotel entrance.

I would give the hotel 5 stars except the beds were so hard. My husband and I both tossed and turned all night and woke up quite sore.

We stayed here for a night as part of a Trafalgar Cavalcade tour in late July 2013.
We found the rooms to be modern & clean and were a good size. They had a comfortable bed with extra pillows.
The bathroom was a good size and we had a shower over the bath.
The room also had a fridge which was a bonus.
We also had a good internet connection from our room.
We had a dinner meal included as part of the tour we were on and thought it was quite good. Alcoholic drinks were also very reasonable in priced.
Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice of everything. No toast here but all sorts of other goodies for breakfast.
This was another hotel on our tour that had damaged power plugs. We were lucky to have 1 that wasn't damaged that wasn't in an awkward position in the room so we were able to charge cameras etc.
I would stay here again if I had the choice as it was a great hotel in a great location.

Good place to stay in the center. Nice staff. Many touristic groups. Have a private parking (15€/ night for a car). Stay ther to have a bath on the roof floor in the small pool (inside) or in the big jacuzzi outside with a gret view on a church roof. Only downside was the bad smellcoming from the bathroom. Also breakfast staff could show more happiness. Would go back there.

This hotel has an amazing location and very close to the City Center. It is just a few minutes walk from the main tourist street where there is the Golden roof, lots of restaurants & café, and shopping. There are malls as well and the shopping is really inexpensive & reasonable as compared to other European destinations. The Imperial Palace, Court Church, and Museum, are all located on the same street as the hotel. The access to the cable cars to take you to the Ski hills is also a 4 minute walk from the hotel. The bus stop for the Sightseer bus is directly across the street from the hotel. There is a University campus close by and so the street is always buzzing with great young cosmopolitan students. But at the same time, once inside the hotel it is absolutely noise free and feels very cosy and comfortable.

The room was very good and decently spacious. Very comfortable for a couple. Infact it had a lovely view of the snow peaked mountains. It was just picture perfect and the mountains felt so close that you almost felt you could touch it. We had a breakfast inclusive package which was great. It is well laid out hot buffet with great variety.
The front desk and other staff was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. They gave appropriate guidance on things to do and best transportations available which is extremely convenient due to the location of the hotel.

We even took a one day train journey to Salzburg and it was just perfect. We are not much into skiing, but had a great experience on the mountains. 4 days is just right to have a good time. An outstanding hotel with great value for money and superb location. Innsbruck as a place is wonderful and the hotel made it even better.
