You need to accept that this is not a hotel and aims to provide a different type of accommodation. If you want a quiet, comfortable, safe, clean and welcoming place to stay this is for you. It is accommodation attached to a convent that is usually used by groups for courses and conferences but can be booked by travellers. I booked via the web site and asked for directions which were emailed to me. The welcome was very friendly and desk staff spoke English well. The room was on 2nd floor and there is a lift. Very clean, spotless modern bathroom, twin beds and delightful sunny aspect with view to mountains. Room has desk with lamp and 2 chairs and hanging space. Beds have lights for reading. You get a key card to access the building out of hours and unlock the room. The desk staff were very helpful explaining how to help yourself to beverages. The bathroom had liquid soap dispenser at the basin and in the. shower. The wi fi was very good and free. The breakfast is self serve, juice, cereals, breads, rolls, pastry, cheese, ham, tomato slices, various spreads and tea or coffee. We walked along the river to the Lowen Haus inn for dinner and there are plenty of other options in walking distance. I think this place is excellent value for exploring Innsbruck.

This place is in the grounds of the nuns' monastery but separate from it so there is no pressure to participate in religious activities. They did not question my faith and I would think all faiths are welcome here.

My room faced the back. There were two single beds along the length of one wall, very comfortable though pillows very very soft (this seems to be an Austrian trend) Bathroom was basic but clean. But the morning views were fantastic, overlooking the gardens and church behind and the mountains behind, truly beautiful. The rooms were very quiet at night and I wouldn't expect otherwise.

It is very close to the river Inn and the promenade to the old town centre. There is Panorama restaurant 5 mins walk away and I had the best steak in a long time, cooked to perfection with caramelised onion sauce and golden fried crispy onions!!

The town centre is lovely 15 minute stroll and in fact this place is ideal to walk up to alpenzoo over a beautiful wooden bridge and further up if you so desired.

I did not have breakfast so unable to comment about food service, but the receptionist was very helpful. If you arrive after 730 pm they will email you a code so you can enter. All in all a lovely place, I would stay again as I don't mind the walk to the city centre thought the tram stop is 2 minutes away so you can take it get to the centre.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms looking at the church, you will not be disappointed by the view.

This guest house run by nuns is a good and value place to visit Innsbruck, good distance to the city center and public traffic. The rooms are simply equipped with a small but new bathroom but very clean. There is no noise disturbing your sleep. Breakfast is comprehensive and good.
As it is run as a church-related house there is no TV in the bedrooms - but this is NO minus!

This place belongs to a monastery and is mainly used as a conference and congregation facility. The complex also consists of a several other facilities run by the nuns. My room was on the second floor to the back side. It was rather small but enough for one person if you have anywhere else to go. Furniture and decoration was simple and rather old fashioned but well kept and very clean. The bathroom was modern, with a shower and spotless. It is located in a quiet residential part of town with little going on around there. To the city centre it is a fast 20 minutes walk at least. A tram stop is close and a taxi rank is around the corner.
