“Incredible Traditional Austrian Food”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

This place is just fantastic, good wholesome Austrian food, very generous portions, ideal for those who are hungry after skiing all day. Typical food of the region.

“Nothing much to complain about”

We ordered the cordon bleu pork fillet. It was quite nice. Nothing much to complain about. Service was prompt and good.

“Don't miss this! Excellent food”
Reviewed December 12, 2012 via mobile

Make sure you eat here the food was delicious. It is quite easy to miss as is part of a hotel (generally I don't tend to eat in hotel restaurants) however this is family run and must not be missed. You could easily walk past this place but go past the old fashioned authentic brown door and up to the first floor. It seems to be family run and very authentic setting. I had zwiebelbraten (beef fillet with roasted onion served with potatoes and a delicious sauce) followed by apple strudel again delicious! I also had a glass of lovely house red all which was very reasonably priced.

“Good food, good service!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

We were staying in Innsbruck for the Christmas markets and this restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Both the food and service were very good and the prices were reasonable for Europe. We also enjoyed to Old World decor.

“Great food and generally very nice service”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

Stayed at the hotel that this restaurant is in in May 2012. Nice hotel and very accommodating.

Decided to hit the easy button after a long day and just eat at the hotel. Great choice. The waitress we had was very nice and accommodating (we have two children and an infant).

My mother had the fish, my sister had some sort of pheasant dish that looked like corned beef hash (it was the winner of the night, very well done), my wife had some braised beef, and I had the pork.

We ended up eating here quite a few more times during our stay in Innsbruck. The only weirdness we encountered is the head waitress/manager. She got very upset when my family didn't sit down at the big table for breakfast. I had no idea that she had been setting that table aside for us and there certainly weren't any signs or a letter to indicate that we should sit there. She seemed frustrated that I couldn't read her mind. But other than that outburst all was well.
