This cafe was very busy but we managed to find a table, we had sandwiches and their hot chocolate, which was the best we had in Austria. We couldn't visit the cafe and not try the original Mozart Kugel (chocolate ball) and it was surprisingly good. I'm not a fan of marzipan but they balance the chocolate, nuts and marzipan really well. We bought some to take back with us from their retail shop nearby.
Mozart chocolates are everywhere, and I tried a different one at the Vienna airport and I didn't like it at all, so you can actually taste the difference in the Furst recipe. If you're in Salzburg, don't miss this cafe.
