Very busy restaurant (Friday night) on the other side of the river from the Old Town. Not a huge selection on the menu but familiar favourites and no complaints about the food other than a little salty compared to home. Curiously the vegetable pakora, which was very tasty, had salt sprinkled over the top before it was served! What is that all about? If I want extra salt I can add it myself.
In common with central European Indian restaurants the spice factor is toned down for the locals who don't really have a tradition of very spicy food as is the case in the UK.
But for a change of cuisine after a few nights of local food this was very welcome and the prices (unusual for this city) were reasonable. Service was friendly if a bit harassed when the restaurant was full.
