More than just the water gardens but they are why many people come here. Entry is by timed ticket due to their popularity and as a consquence there is the odd accasion where groups are a little larger than is comfortable or are "hurried along"
Having got the negatives out of the way it is a trip worth making and the gardens are magnificent. The water features and novelties are breathtaking.
The Palace is included in the price and, whilst being sparcely furnished, is well worth a visit.
The "Sound of Music" Summer House is a novelty but, unless you are a "S o M" addict is hardly noteworthy.
The walk up to the hillside folklore museum is well worth the effort.
Combined with the adjacent zoo this is well worth the time.
