Now here's a hotel that's aptly named.

Stayed at the AllYouNeed Hotel in Salzburg for 3 nights and it was perfect.

Location
- located on a small alley/side street just off the main pedestrian street. Within 50 steps you're in the center of it all. You'll notice that the little side street never gets any sun so it's quite a bit colder than the rest of the city. It's so strange! Don't let the temperature fool you in the morning as you'll roast if you dress for the weather you see just outside your window.

Rooms
- Our double room was simple, but well-appointed.
- Double beds pushed together, a desk, two IKEA-like armoires and a bookshelf. You'll feel like you just walked into your university dorm room for the first time, as it's white walls, white sheets, and no frills, but it's comfortable and clean.
- rooms are quiet as you're off the main street
- Please remember to bring your own toiletries as this hotel does not provide shampoo or soap.

Breakfast
- great selection at breakfast: hard boiled eggs, meats cheeses, breads
- enjoy your breakfast on their rooftop patio for a full view of the city.

WIFI
- free in the lobby, and free in your room if you have a cable. Front desk will lend you a cable for a 10Euro security deposit that you'll get back when you return it.

Parking
- is available - but they only have three spots. Be sure to request parking when you make your reservation. I believe it's 15Euro per day. There is also parking on a street nearby that the front desk can direct you to. It's free evenings after 7pm until 9am the following morning if I remember correctly. Also a parking lot down the street for 18Euros.

You'll enjoy your stay here. You'll truly have All You Need...as long as you remember to pack your own soap!

I was very pleased with my stay at the All You Need Hotel. It is in a fantastic location, rooms are spacious enough, the bathroom was very clean, breakfast buffet was good with a lovely outdoor terrace. Staff were very friendly and you can book the Sound of Music Tour at reception. Really could not fault it.

Clean, bright and friendly, a really lovely Hotel to stay in, Rooms are spotless, and Breakfast on the top floor (or the Roof) was a delight, would reccomend it 100%.
Our only bugbear was that the booking Agent had apparently not told them we were coming, but their excelent staff sorted it out within 30 mins, although I dread to think what might have happened if there were no spare rooms available.

This hotel was great. The furniture was very basic but plenty of storage space for all my stuff. You could get pretty much anything you needed from the front desk like a fan or a hairdryer for a ten euro deposit. You pay for parking, but at a discounted rate from the parking garage price. It was a very short walk to everything in the city center. The breakfast buffet was regular European fare and was included in the room rate. We have a small child and when we checked in, there was already a crib set up in the room. That was the thing that impressed us right off the bat. The lobby is just a couple of tables and vending machines. No carpet in the whole place, but we really had everything we needed. You don't need a whole lot of comfort items since you'll be out and about all day and there's so much to do in the evening too. The front desk staff is so friendly; they sell tour tickets to you and help you book reservations. We couldn't have asked for much more, but if we did, they would have helped us get it.

1. The location was good. Right near the intersection of Linzergasse and Wolf-Dietrich. Walk thru a narrow walkway and there you are! There is a small supermarket a short block away on the corner of Franz Joseph Strasse, and a laundromat a block away too (forgot the street).
2. The price was very good for Salzburg. Got a good rate on a big travel website.
3. The hotel is a college dorm but rents out to tourists during the summer. Clean, simple and functional. Rooms just like a nice college dorm room. Small beds, TV with CNN. Unit bath, narrow shower (but with good water pressure); no hotel amenities like shampoo. Average breakfast buffet, served on the top floor, with a nice view over the city. Forgot if there was A/C. Sorry.
4. The front staffers were efficient, friendly and spoke English.

Other: The restaurant M32 was super! The views were incredible. Best in the afternoon when the sun is at your back. Also, if people are going to Wolfgang Lake, there is a café called Muhrdahl above the town of St. Gilgen. Has incredible views. Buses make a stop here, as do “Sound of Music” van tours.

This hotel is exactly what it says it is All you need. It is quite basic with small rooms but they are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. But best of all is that it's only a short walk to all that Salzburg has to offer.
