We stayed as a couple in this hotel in August.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The location itself is good - within a 15min walk you'll be in historic old town. The train station is by taxi only 5 away.
Unfortunately the hotel must be updated. The toilets are small and look like early 90ies - some tiles were damaged and some repairs were poorly executed. Also the furniture looked already used and needs to be replaced. Outside the rooms (i.e. on the way to the elevator) the hotel looks like a three star hotel build in the 80ies, carpets tend to smell in whole hotel. The reception and the breakfast area were modernized.
In summary, an acceptable stay, but for me closer to 3 stars. A better no-frills hotel in a good location. I paid 110EUR for one night and think that's already slightly overpriced - clearly I would not pay more.More
