This is the bigger exhibition. It is very exquisite, yet the information is only of interest for Mozart-fans.

I really loved the model of the Dancing Master's House, that showed the place furnished in the time of the Mozart family, and the text and videos projected to a mirror-like surface were rather impressive, yet most of the exibition was about fake portraits and the difficulty of coming up with authentic ones. The last room is fun, though!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I appreciate Mozart, but he's not my favorite, however, the exhibits in the residence give you a very good idea of what his life was like and what life in general was about then. We also got an understanding of the music scene of that time. Well worth the time spent.

I was there last ferbuary and was very disapointed, because you pay around 10 euros to visit the house where MOzart used to live and work, and there was nothing of his old furniture or pianos, just a small exibihtion of his life, with a lot of paintings that they cant afirm if it was really about him and almost all of them was just a copy. And even this way, you cant take pictures of the only room with just a piano and a chair. There is nothing there to see but this. Dont waste your time if you are not a big fan of Mozart.

This isn't the best Mozart sight. The whole building is a museum with little idea on how it may have looked when Mozart lived there except for one room. While we were there they were showing an exhibit on different portraits of Mozart. It was ok but it was more about art than him and his music. The birth place of Mozart is much better. If you have to choose, go to the birth place.

All the 3-4 rooms in this "museum" were devoted to studying Mozart portraits. Only other items were a few musical instruments from his time shoved into a corner of the entry room with no guide information. Nothing about the man, how he grew up, what he did in this house, what was life like, etc. Shockingly poor!
