“NIce flowers”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2014

This is a lovely spot, but visited mainly because a scene from The Sound of Music was filmed here. If you have come to Austria to see flowers, this is definitely worth a visit. Otherwise, if your time is short, go elsewhere.

“Dissapointing and 'verbooten'”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2014

We went in February - a nice sunny day, no snow, but just about everything was 'verbooten' and roped off.

“Beautiful Gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

Its centrally located so one can actually visit while going around the city and if you are looking to take a break for an hour or so.

The garden is stunningly beautiful with a huge variety of flowers and is easily accessible using public transport. Located very close to Mozart House. Can just sit and relax amidst lovely surroundings.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2014

Beautiful! Gardens, buildings, statues and water features. Straight from the Panorama Sound of Music Tour, it was lovely to relax and enjoy the gardens, whilst taking in a few more things from the movie.
How long you spend here would be down to how long you have? We spent a couple of hours, but could easily have spent longer

“Beautiful even in winter”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2014

We walked around for a few hours. Entrance is free into the gardens. Don't miss the solarium with tropical plants, small birds, and a turtle pond. This is a great place to warm up if it is cold outside. The fountain and adjoining main garden are features in the Sound of Music where the sing "Do-Ray-Me".
