A nice, neatly maintained garden with colourful flowers and old sculptures to take the pictures. It is one place centrally located and easily accessible within the city. Most of the city tours actually have this place as their starting points. Go and load your camera memory card completely with the snaps. You can get a view of the palace from the garden too. Roses are real red :) here

Fabulous rose garden, great designs in the lawns with the fortress view above. Great fountains and just a nice place to sit a relax. It is a bit of a walk and across the river from most of the main sights and old part of town. We have been multiple times and it is a great place at any time of year, but at it's best, in July.

simple but lovely and relaxing to see all the flowers in bloom! chairs/benches invite you to relax and ponder or just stroll and stop to smell the roses. big plus is the free admission. not as big as the gardens of france but cozier and more manageable. another delightful experience in salzburg.

Gorgeous gardens with free admission. Adore the dwarf statue garden and the rose garden. So nice to find an oasis of calm in this busy tourist town.
