Owner description: Fantastic outdoor swimming pool. Lovingly called Lepi by Salzburgers. There are five pools and very nice facilities including an almost 70 m. long waterslide. The complex is among the largest in Austria and thanks to the nice grassmeadows you can always find a spot for your self. Leopoldskron is fantastic for children with not less than three pools for children. All with sunprotection. One for the smallest with a depth of 20 cm. Including a small creek. One with 30 cm depth. And a bigger with a "learn to swim" area where the waterdepth goes from 0 to 60 cm. For adults there is a 50m Olympic pool.

Great, well maintained pool for all. If visiting for longer, get a pass for all the Freibaeder, 10 pass for 2 or 3 kids, can use same pass. Lovely, fun slides and good spring and diving boards.

My friend and I spent a few days in Salzburg and decided to go here one day as the weather was scorching. It was a bit hard to find as hardly anyone seemed to know it or know which bus to take but we got there in the end. It was €4.40 to get in and then we hired some sunbeds for €4.70. There are three pools. One with slides and a shallow bit for small children and there's also a massive one with a diving board. There's also a park with swings and a mini gold area. You could buy fast food and ice creams there or eat on the terrace overlooking the lake used in the Sound of Music. We had a great chilled out day here.

Hidden gem of a pool, which seems to be missed by the tourists. Spotlessly clean open-air lido, very cheap and great fun, with slides and chutes and minigolf as well..... Easy to spend an afternoon or more here. And just a short walk from great views of Schloss Leopoldskron, for the Sound of Music fans!

If the weathers nice then you have to come here! There's a pool for all ages and swimmers. A trickle/foot splash bit for your toddlers, a pool which is split into two parts by a buoyed rope to indicate the two different depths. The more shallow half was ideal for my two children (10 and 11) whilst the deeper side was right for me. The other pools have spring boards, a twirly water slide etc.

The park has a great big green lawn for sun bathers and its where people eat their lunch too. There's two food stalls there and a ice cream vendor. You can even buy cigarettes from one of the stalls.

Cons? The bus stop is quite far away from the park. Oh, and its bus 22 if you were wondering which bus to get.

This place is a mix of many of things to see. If combined with visit to palace, it is even great. Eating is no constraint since it has many joints. Always better to carry towel for a good shower. A good visit for children also in lawns.
