“Great coffee and light food slightly off the beaten path”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2012

We were unimpressed by super automatic coffee served in most Salzburg places presumably known for their good coffee. We went to Grad 220 after reading a review and were gratified by their excellent coffee and talented baristas. The light food was home made - particularly good was the brown bread and the jam for the croissants, and the desserts (rhubarb tart). The coffee is roasted in house. It has a modern look and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Went several times and it was consistently good. We rank it among the best coffee houses we have ever visited.

“Best Café and best Espresso in Salzburg!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2010

Great breakfast with good quality food, lovely decorated. They grind the coffee themselves and have different brands also from South America. It's a small café, so book in advance, so that you don't miss having great breakfast and coffee here!!

“Best Cafe in Salzburg”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2008

220 Grad is the best coffee house in Salzburg, and is representative of how local talent and creativity can create (superior) competition to both the traditional (and sometimes stuffy) Kaffehäuser and to the cookie-cutter Starbucks invading Austria.
