The Hotel Novapark has got a new Management a few months ago and so we tried it again, after years. You can see and feel the positive effects of this change and we were very happy. Friendly welcome at the check-in, quick and good service in the Bar/Restaurant next to the Lobby - even late at night, wounderful renovated rooms.
The huge Spa at the top of the Hotel we could also use as a drink in the Bar of one of the Airplanes on the Roof of the building. All in all a big suggestion für a stay in Graz.

A hotel that badly needs an update! Smoking rooms next to reception and within the breakfast room feel and smell out of date. The hotel got stuck in the 90’s and has two airplanes on the roof. The room felt clean however mould in the shower and a big crack in the bathroom sink. A bit off the centre thus a bit long to walk to the city centre. Cracks in the corridor, wet staines on walls and ceiling of hotel room. Would not come here again.

I can fully recommend this hotel. For everyone - families, singles, couples, ...
There's all you need. Very kind personel. An extraordinary experience. And also price is acceptable. Lot of extras in price (spa) or not too expensive.
Thx for all.

If you enjoy booking into an over priced building site then this is the hotel for you. We were allocated our ‘comfort’ room but discovered it was next to a large noisy air conditioning unit which made it difficult to speak and sleep would have been impossible. The helpful lady on reception found another room on the other side of the hotel but there was an additional cost of 5euros per day for the air con. When booking this hotel - do not be fooled by the room photos, the comfort rooms look the same as the standard ones - the receptionist told us that the difference was a larger bed but it didn’t look that big. Breakfast might have been ok at 6 am when the scrambled eggs and bacon were cooked but by 9am they were cold. The bread and croissants were at least three days old but it was Whitsun holiday, the lady in the breakfast room was very pleasant. On paying the bill for two nights - over 300euros. The exterior of the hotel was another story - EXTENSIVE building work (not as described in the details) which would probably extend the hotel by 50% - gladly we were there over a weekend so no workmen, dread to think what it would have like on a weekday. Would I stay again ? Certainly NOT !

We stayed here for two nights. We had a voucher for the hotel, so we paid only 25€ per person per night. At the full rate I'd say the hotel is a little expensive, although it depends on how much you use the offered facilities. If you're a spa-loving person, then this hotel is great for you. The spa is really nice and free for hotel guests. Just be sure to bring your own towels, slippers and stuff, as they charge extra for everything you forgot.
The hotel is quite far away from the center of Graz, but with the bus (bus stop is 5-10 min away from the hotel) you get to the center (Jakominiplatz) conveniently.
The breakfast buffet was very nice. Of course the selection could be bigger, but for us it was big enough, there should be something for everyone's taste.

so my conclusion is: if you get a room at a cheaper rate or ar a spa lover, you're in the right place here.
