This hotel, five to ten minutes’ walk from the train station, doesn’t look anything from the outside but inside is very pleasant. We had a big, nicely furnished room with high ceilings, and on the very hot day we were there, it was lovely and cool. Everything was clean and modern.

It’s a shortish stroll to town. The area isn’t the prettiest and is surrounded by cheap shops.

We didn’t go for the breakfast because we thought it was quite expensive.

This hotel is an easy walk from the Hauptbahnhof in Graz. It is on the main street Annenstrasse which runs into Herrengasse which is Graz’s main drag. Trams run along this street. Our room was on the ground floor, but was very quiet. The room was suitable for those with a disability with an open space shower area and seat. The room was large. The breakfast was good and the lady who looks after the breakfast is so very cheerful and friendly with a lovely smile. The only downside was the wifi connection - it kept dropping out and was therefore frustrating. We did not complain. We were there for 3 nights and it suited us in all the main comfort areas.

POSITION: In walking distance from the train station, the city center and , for me the most important, Helmut-List Halle. In Graz trams between few stops in the center is free of charge (i.e. up to Kunsthaus in the direction of the hotel).
HOTEL: This is my second stay in Drei Raben. The first time I was in 2011. The hotel is renovated and modernised.
ROOM: The room on the 3rd floor looked on the side street. As the hotel is on the corner from the main street tram traffic and people talking can be heard in the evening. Although the traffic is low specially at night. If you like there are soundproof windows and AC. Double room is pretty large. The bedsheets are white and it seemed made of cotton. The bathroom is small but the shower cabin is large enough and comfortable. If the mirror would be shorter, the small sink under it could be more easily usable. I liked that the glasses are made of glass not plastic. Except radiator there were no hanger for towels. As in many hotels there was no hanger for skirts in wardrobe.
CLEANNESS: The room was very clean. At the breakfast there were some remarks. I took a dirty spoon from the container with supposed clean spoons. Although there were double tablecloths, the dirty upper one was not changed.
BREAKFAST: Buffet style, pretty varied although there was no croissant or brioche. But there was hard and soft boiled eggs, omelette, salmon, wine, strudel... My breakfast was included in the price of the room so I do not know if it is worth the price. It would be OK for 10-11€.
WIFI: Not so good for streaming.Enough electricity socket by the bed.
VALUE FOR MONEY: I had "weekend offer" which is very good option (3 for 2 night and gratis Joanneum 48-h ticket).

A great location just about five minutes from the railway station this hotel offers nice and cosy rooms. Neatly cleaned up, although at 14.00 the second day they still hadn't cleaned when I came back from a business meeting, and nice spacious bathroom with an extra room for the toilet - Fancy that!
The single-room actually is a single room. I really didn't know this is still a thing. So I slept for the first time in years in an actual single bed, which was fine by the way - although I prefer my space.
The breakfast is nice and you get just about all you need. Nothing too fancy, but a decent Sortiment of bread, butter, jams, eggs and bacon etc. - I took the one star off for the cleaning that hadn't been done at 14 o'clock the next day and the actual single bed in an otherwise really nice and top situated hotel.
