The hotel is right in the center of the small city of Wels. The rooms are very clean and convenient. For a price of about 109 EUR per night for a superior 4 star room. Definitly to recommend! Very nice in my opinin was the welcome table with fresh fruits. As well the idea of a Nespresso machine ;-)
Spent 5 days (Christmas) at Hotel Ploberger. Great hotel, very quiet, the location is very central.
The size of the room was just right, big and comfy beds, big drawer, great bathroom.
Wireless in the room worked like a charm.
The staff is very helpful and do everything they can to make sure you have a great stay at the hotel.
Breakfast: 2 big thumbs up.
The present received from the reception at our departure was a nice touch.
I may have landed lucky in regards to room 420 as I am staying at this hotel as a part of a large group but besides that this is a well cared for hotel. Staff are very helpful and polite. It seems to be well situated close to town centre but Unfortunately only here for 1 night so not sure if the hotel is suited for a longer stay
Stayed in the Hotel Ploberger last week for two days, very good hotel, central to everything in the typically beautiful Austrian town of Wels. The room was just the right size with enough storage to neatly put away our bags and baggage. Breakfast was a proper breakfast, perfectly fresh, with a variety of cereals, cold meat platters,ot cooked scrambled or fried eggs and bacon, cheeses, breads, actually the list is pretty exhaustive. Staff were informative and courteous and of course, speak perfect English - which is more than can be said for my German.
A business trip and short, but I was struck by how quiet the city was.
The hotel is clean and comfortable, room had a bath and over shower, with comfy bed and pillows. Some UK TV but not much. Overall I was quite impressed for the price. You do have to go out for dinner as they only serve breakfast but that it REALLY good with a wide variety. No Gym as is my pet hate, but thats about all I could complain about

The staff is amazing. Nothing is problem for them. Late checkout wasn't problem, they showed us everything on the map at the moment we checked in.
Room was big, bathroom was ok but something is missing, some kind of touch.
Breakfest is excellent, wide choice
