We used this hotel as a stopover on a road trip from Budapest to Stuttgart as it fell roughly halfway.
It is basic accommodation but the place is spotless and well-furnished with modern appointments. Quiet too, except when your neighbour showers! The staff were very hospitable too.
WiFi got up to a whopping 50 Mbps at times (10 for uploads), so very satisfactory.
It is just about in the middle of nowhere and appears to adjoin a light industrial estate. There is really nothing else around, so if have expectations for a bit of local activity, you may be disappointed. That said, the place is self-sufficient if all you want to do is rest and have a meal.
The attached restaurant, open for breakfast, also serves meals during the week. The fare, I must say, was very good - a good range of options with all reasonably priced. Service, at times, was a little slack though. Breakfast (extra) was pretty uninspirational and included cold pre-prepared scrambled eggs and cold bacon. I am assuming that was a one-off.
Our room had a view of a hip roof literally centimetres away - not that we really came for a view.
Overall, we were very satisfied, despite some imperfections. The three star rating for our room would be four stars in many other countries/places.More
