I read the reviews before going there but decided I would give it a try, how disappointing it was. There is no atmosphere, no sooner had we sat at our table they were asking us what we wanted to drink we hadn't even seen the menu. There was no need to rush us as there were several
empty tables. The food can only be described as mediocre, meat was very dry although my salmon was fine. For desert I ordered the mixed berry strudel which was absolutely awful and an insult to even call it strudel. It had obviously been warmed up in a microwave as the pastry was soggy and the filling was dry, no signs of berries other than the colour of the filling, for this they charged 7.50 euros. I complained but there was no apology and they still charged for it. I travel to Austria frequently and often to Linz, I would not visit this restaurant again and would not recommend it, it is overpriced and for less money there are much better restaurants.

This restaruant and bar were next door to the hotel I stayed at in Linz. It hhad a very outdoor and indoor seating area. The Sunday buffet was very good. The presentation was beautiful and the meat and fish served were being cooked outside on the patio grill.

It wasn't the most outstanding food I've ever had but it was very good. The atmosphere sent it over the top for me. A place where you can get good food, great service and a great atmosphere for a reasonable price.

We ate here on a spur of the moment decision on a hot summer evening. We sat in the courtyard with a fantastic view of the Dom church, the stained glass windows lit up from within. It was calm and cool and very pleasant. The staff at the restaurant were delightful, apologizing for not having a menu in English, but answering our questions about items we could not figure out. The food and wine were excellent. We started with a selection of breads (always good in Austria) served with excellent butter and two different flavoured cream cheese type spreads. Then we were given an amuse bouche on the house of a small mozzarella and basil salad, with excellent mozzarella and an intense basil flavour. Then we all had green salads served in a parmesan basket with small fried egg (perhaps quail?) on top. Refreshing and delicious. For mains, two of us had Wiener schnitzel, and the other a beef dish served on fresh noodles. All delicious. After that we were too full for dessert, but shared a very good cheese plate to finish our wines. We could not have asked for a better meal to start our visit to Linz.

We decided to eat here due to the location and the lay out. Very trendy, close to our hotel ( same property) in the Dom place. Everything nice but food!! Meaningless dishes, not matching with what they bring you. Sniezle with a horrible bad oil taste. Too fast service. Always in a hurry. Better you find a classic "stube" were you you know what you get for one third of the price. don't eat here

A souless "wannabe" designer restaurant where the interior is better than the food itself. Hopefully overpriced, tiny portions, unimaginative dishes, it was an altogether disappointing experience.
One of those restaurants where everyone feels they have to talk in a hushed voice and sip wine stiffly.
