Everything about this hotel was exquisite. The location, the view from the balcony, the room, the clubs and the surroundings, everthing was grand and enjoyable.

At times, expensive hotels tend to give a boring impression, which was exactly this hotel wasnt. Jimmyz, the club was amazing. The hotel had a shuttle service, every 15 min, to the casino square, which is the centre of acitivty of monaco.

breakfast was elaborate and you could pick and choose from the variety according to your preferences.

You simply get a royal experience here at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel.

Room Tip: I had room 525 and got an amazing view of the beach and the entire hotel

I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for two nights. Our room was very roomy and modern. Lovely bed linen. Grounds are gorgeous. Particularly liked the sandy bottomed lagoon. Yes it's pricey but that's Monaco. We were very happy with our choice and will certainly recommend to friends.

It's always a pleasure to stay here. It has everything you need and more. The hotel is close to Jimmy'z and the Salle des Etoiles and not that far from the Grimaldi Forum.

Room Tip: Either side of the hotel provides a lovely view. Choose sea view towards the Country Club or the bea...

The hotel is located at one end of Monte Carlo where Larvotto Beach is located. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel where you can take bus no 6 for one EUR to Casino Square for high end retail shopping or go to Fontvielle. The hotel also has free shuttle to Casino Square.

We had a 9th floor room with balcony facing the swimming pools. The room is spacious with a nice balcony. The bathroom is so spacious that it has separate shower room, toilet, bath tub and dressing table.

The hotel has a spa, gym, outdoor swimming pool and indoor heated pools. I found the depth of the indoor pool at 1.4m a bit too deep for someone who cannot swim but would like to enjoy the jacuzzi.

The buffet breakfast has hot breakfast as well continental breakfast but did not see any Asian food like Japaneses Miso soup or rice. The fried bacon is crispy and I like the bottled mixed berries yogurt.

Only thing I found lacking is that there were not much Asian food on the menu in the hotel dinning area even though Thai and Vietnamese food is commonly found in this part of Europe. If you crave for Asian food, you have to walk out of the hotel to the nearby Thai Restaurant.

It has a small gift shops where you can get some gifts and stamps for your postcard.

I stayed 2 nights at the Monte Carlo Bay on business. The hotel was excellent and the room was very large and well designed. It would really deserve 5 stars. The prices are high but i guess nothing comes cheap in Monaco.

Pros: Excellent rooms, huge venue with beautiful views and wonderful pool area
Cons: Shower was a bit feeble, absurdly pricey (but this is Monaco)

The most baffling thing about the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel is that it's only a 4-star. And by that regard it must be the most modest hotel in history. Don't be fooled: this is 5-star luxury.
But then it comes at a 5-star price. It's very, very expensive. But, hey, this is Monaco so who would anticipate less? If you're a drinker you'll end up with a hefty bill. In fact if you enjoy that thing called eating you'll end up with a hefty bill too. Put simply, if you're human you'll end up with a hefty bill. But that's the Monaco way.
The rooms are neither big nor small, but come equipped with a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, balcony, big ole bed and - and this is the most important part - a balcony with stunning view as standard. A look across the Med with its peninsular juts and large yachts is just, well, epic.
Small quibble: there was no bath tub and the shower wasn't as powerful as it could have been.
Outside of the room there's a lot of space including a pool with various pods, hammocks, shaded areas and palm trees. Venues are close by and there's even a gym, casino, pool bar and trendy club called Jimmy*z (the latter located well away from the property so noise is no problem).
It's bliss. But it's pricey. Do it if you can afford it... it's wonderful stuff.

Room Tip: Ask to go up high and pay the extra for the sea view... it's worth it just to sit on your then p...

Las Vegas like luxury hotel, but with real rocks +++ - not plastic like in Vegas, wonderful scenery and surroundings, make sure you get a room with balcony and view of the Mediterranean sea. Wonderful outdoor swimming pool and beaches nearby if you prefer the morning bath in real nature as I do.

Room Tip: make sure you get a room with balcony and view of the Mediterranean sea.
