This is a lunch only "stand" is a food court and not a sit down with cloth napkins experience but worth sitting elbow to elbow with strangers to experience. The place was packed when I went (around 1:30). I was able to find a spot at the bar and flag down a waiter to ask for something good to eat without any meat - no English menu. He suggested spaghetti with langoustines and it was delicious enough for me to forget that my love of truffles lead me to the place. I went back a few days later determined to sample some truffles and ordered spaghetti with truffles. I have to admit that I have been somewhat spoiled and my experiences with truffles have been at fine dining establishments so I was somewhat shocked to discover that while the truffles they served me looked like my beloved truffles, they did not resemble in taste to what I expected. They were dry, brittle and had no real truffle taste.
The staff is decent enough and both dishes were good, my truffle shock notwithstanding. I would definitely return and bump elbows with the Italian speaking staff and fellow diners for a nice bowl of pasta.
