We planned to visit the gardens on the way to Larvotto beach but somehow missed them!
We didn't on the way back to town though and glad we didn't. The gardens were immaculately maintained with some beautiful displays and Koi carp.
The gardens were empty and offered a relaxing atmosphere.

“Meditation anyone??”

The Japanese Gardens are a two minute walk from Le Meridien and a lovely sight to stumble upon and to behold. While it is a late spring, some flowers were in bloom and predicted an Everest of colourful blossoms to follow. Such a peaceful area!! The many ponds, some with fish, and the colourful bridge and trimmed greenery all painted a picture of absolute serenity. It lies a few steps from the Mediterranean and offers a pleasant respite from a boulevard plagued with Astin Martin, Rolls Royce, Mazarati, and Bentley dealerships. Did I mention Mercedez Benz?? You don't have to carry a million dollar price tag to steal the show!!!!

A lovely peaceful place to escape the bustle of Monaco's busy streets for half an hour or so. The kids will love the large Coy Carp in the ponds.
