To start with: this is the new " winter-time" JIMMY'Z, that opened almost a year before, next to the Casino ( the local friends told me that it used to be another club there, before).

For those who knows it, the JIMMY'Z is one of the world's legendary night clubs for more than 30 yrs now and it used to host the Cote d' Azur's most glamorous nights out on the town. It tried to replace the famous STUDIO 54's atmosphere and succeeded in. It has seen every celebrity pass it's doors: Royalties and uber-rich, stars and models they have all been there. I 'm talking about the Sporting Club Complex " in season" wonderful venue.

The new " off season" one, is a bit tiny, and not the most spectacular club in the world.
It's more a 70s disco but it's buzzin and a lot of fun. It's definitely the premier night club in Monte Carlo. If you want to go somewhere late that attracts a younger,faster-living crowd donning the latest labels, then you have to be there- but not before 1.00 am !!
It continues to enchant a chic international clientele who come to have fun, to relax or to celebrate a special event : sport stars, fashion stars, show biz stars, billionaires you'll meet them all there. In a very special atmosphere it still attracts the world's biggest names to the turntables. If you want to share a dance floor with Rihanna, Leonardo di Caprio, George Clooney, Jenson Button,Roberto Cavalli,Bono to name but a few, here you are, then !

ATTENTION : As it's not really spacey and usually packed - Tues to Sat from 11.00 to dawn - if you want to have a table to sit you have to make a reservation days before with minimum a bottle of champagne to consume. The cheapest champagne is approx 320 euros. If you prefer the bar, the first drink is around 30 euros- even if it's a.. mineral water !! And I wouldn't recommend for a music request to the DJs. They're all pretty well known and the regular guest DJs list includes Boy George, among them. So, dress to kill !

Last but not least : the JIMMY'Z key-person is the charismatic Antonio, A genius, smiley, energetic, adorable guy, the eye & the ear and the sweetheart of the club.
Bravo Antonio, well done!

“Wear your dancing shoes !!”
Reviewed November 8, 2012 via mobile

My daughter and I danced the night away to the amazing DJ -- I loved the outside area to get some fresh air -after dancing - great smiles and the light systems -- they did a small tribute to Donna Summers which was fab--even the bouncers and the bartenders were cool -- although we did not have a reserved table they put one on our table -- loved it -- don't go with a typical American attitude and you will enjoy it also

“Nice bar, bad company”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

We visited the bar on a Friday night last week.

Me being a red blooded male decided to chat to a few very attractive ladies only to find that the entire club seemed to be full of hookers at €1000 euros each, the more i looked round and chatted the more their seemed, not a nice place to socialise. The horror continued as I ordered 3 drinks, lemonade, coke and a vodka coke.... €60 !

All in all a very un pleasant experience, no atmosphere all seemed very pretentious.

“Super expensive”
Reviewed July 12, 2012 via mobile

Dont go before 1 30. It gets packed late even on weekdays. Not bad but overly expensive. One drink is 27euros. Music was good but surprisingly not the latest hits. Ull find all ages in the club.

“Not wort a penny...”

After Buddha Bar we searched for something better, Jimmy's definitely is not. It's a place for spoiled bragging boys with big cars. Not really friendly staff, and very expensive.
