We had a coffee and pastry, sitting in the morning sun and watching the 'snow covered' Christmas trees being decorated with the baubles and lights. Quiet in the morning and good people watching in the afternoon

Anyone travelling in the south of France rgion should take time out to see Casino Square Monaco. There is nowhere quite like it anywhere in the world. Glitz, glamour, sports cars you will never see anywhere else it's a site to behold!! Have a drink in the Cafe de Paris its dear but very worth it.

A elegant Christmas display of flocked trees amongst the Palms. The mirror in the centre gives an amazing reflection of the Casino.

They say that, 'It is not what it used to be', but it is still very cool!. The magnificent casino, the hotel (currently closed) the expensive parked cars (now, many are on-loan inventory from local dealers), the out door cafe filled with sun glassed patrons, and all the people from all corners of the world wanting and yearning to ogle a celebrity getting out of, or into one of those expensive cars. No, we did not run into Roger Moore or any other James Bond actor, in a bar the night before, as so many people quip . North and east of the square is a beautiful forest of exotic trees and palms and conifers; many are hundreds of years old and all are maintained to perfection. Some are huge majestic trees that have been bonsai to half their normal height. Walk it night or day, or preferably, both. It seems to be very safe!

The square speaks of the grandeur of the place when we visited the casino we saw some of the most expensive cars in the world.
