As part of our Avalon Waterways tour we spent one night here. It is right next to "The Casino" in Monte Carlo and was close to the town. We greatly enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Everything was great. The service is very good and prefessional (being a big hotel you cannot expect a fully dedicated service, but when needed was very professional), the rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is great and the view amazing! We were at Fairmont for 3 nights with our children (ages 5, 11 and 16). We have stayed in 2 separate rooms. The hotel upgraded our room to one with sea view which was fantastic!
In terms of location is also very good. you can walk to the beach although the swimming pool on the top of the hotel is great. The only minus was the wifi which was not available in the rooms but only at the hotel hall. Definitely we would like to come back and recommend it!

My husband had a business trip and I tagged along. Our room literally hung out over the Mediterranean. Every morning I would see a new gorgeous yacht in the distance. The hills of Monaco were spectacularly beautiful and we could see Italy in one direction, France in the other. Everyone at the hotel was very nice, what you would expect of a luxury class business hotel. Great rooftop bar. We used the hotel as a base for day trips to Nice, Provence and the Cote d'Azur. Especially liked La Turbie, up in the hills. We parked in the municipal lot under the hotel, much cheaper than valet.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the water.

Excellent property and service ...value is challenging at euro 630 or so for a sea view room. Views are spectacular of yachts and cruise ships in the harbor, the blue Mediterranean waters as well as the view across the bay. Room size is quote large for a European hotel and is very comfortable. Fresh linens each night ( not green but wonderful in today's cost cutting / penny pinching environment ). Bathrooms are small but include excellent functional showers-another true pleasure in a European hotel, Location is superb - a few steps from the casino and a short walk to the harbor area .
Internet access a bit of an issue - only wired access in rooms (wireless in lobby and meeting rooms) and even this costs E 20 per day. Mini bar prices a bit excessive at e 5 for a 750ml bottle of water --- the " Nickel and diming " is unseemly at these room rates .
