Excellent place for adults and children, impressive collection of marine animals and exotic fish, nice atmosphere, excellent location by Royal Residence, gorgeous garden and other attractions in the oldest part of Monaco.

Not very crowded, good exhibits, very interesting fish (different from the ones in asia) (fish with legs??) Can spend at least half a day here if you pore through everything and take your time with the exhibits. Great view of Monte Carlo from the top. The restaurant is nice too, moules frites (generous portions)
You get to stroke a shark too! If you're not scared of putting your hand in that is!

This is a good value for money attraction. If you do the Monaco Grand Tour (the bus tour) you get a small discount so it is worth getting that first before going there.

The building itself is very nice. The aquarium is a decent size and can be done in less than an hour of more than 4 if you take your time.

As I went during the school holidays, it was rather busy but it was still a very pleasant visit.

P.S: I bought a pen from the gift shop which broke pretty much right away, shame I was already on the bus back. Souvenirs are really overpriced and of poor quality.
