Owner description: Magnificent cathedral, built in 1875, is the final resting place of Princess Grace of Monaco, several important 16th-century paintings and a wooden altar dating from the Spanish Renaissance.

The small principality of Monaco is surrounded by France on three sides and the sea on the fourth side. It's the second smallest independent state, after the Vatican, in the world. In the awe-inspiring Cathedral one can visit the grave of Princess Grace (people are still leaving flowers on it) and Prince Ranier. We also visited the royal palace where Prince Albert lives, but it wasn't nearly as impressive as the Cathedral.

The most important Cathedral in Monaco. It's beautiful! And it is the final resting place for all Grimaldi Princes. Also the Grave of Princess Grace is here. You come. And stay in silence...

Compared to other cathedrals I have seen, this one is much more cozy and it is interesting to see the tombstones of the Monaco's royals, including Princess Grace Kelly

Church is small but charming where prince and king got married. Its a free entrance and any case you will pass by it while going to the castle or aquarium. Don't miss La chocolaterie de monaco right next to it where you can buy good souvenir chocolate

We saw many more beautiful Cathedrals already but this one has a love story inside. Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly married and buried in this very place. Get ready for the goose-bumps! The cathedral also has a nice view of Mediterranean in the front.
