Stayed in the hotel during a weekend break in October 2013. Overall we were very happy.

Booked a Junior Suite via the hotel web page. The room was quite spectacular. A duplex apartment with a kitchenette, a hydro-massage bathtub, and a walk-in closet. Let me say that again: A walk in closet! Oh, and 2 bathrooms. One of them accessed (rather bizzarely) via the kitchenette.

The room, while very nicely laid out, had some minor flaws. The sofa wasn't very clean. Someone had spilled a drink on it, there was a visible stain (room 431). The balcony was huge with an excellent view. A loose broken tile, bot no biggie.

There was a very large TV on each floor, but the image quality was like a VHS from 1980's. Anyways, we didn't much care about that.

We found the hydro-massage bathtub to be a bit of a gimmick. It looked like a cheap model - plasticky, noisy, and not terribly comfortable.

The reception staff was very nice. They greeted us with lots of smiles and parked the car for us in the underground parking place (also drove it back out in the morning).

The hotel seems to be sports-oriented. There is a great pool, a well-equipped gym and a tennis court. The saunas are below-par, though. The large humidity stains on the ceiling in the pool area are depressing, they should really do something about it.

Also, I was practically thrown out of the pool on account of not wearing a cap (I was the only person there). Didn't much appreciate that.

The reception area was pleasant and inviting, with comfortable sofas, selection of newspapers and a piano.

WiFi reception in the room was so poor that it is fair to say that there was no WiFi in the room. If you ever stay in 413: The signal is only available in a narrow band along the window.

The breakfast was what you would expect for the category. I.e. excellent. My wife was especially happy with the restaurant staff at breakfast.

The bed was great. Large, firm, and comfortable. We slept like newborns.

I would definitely return. Did I mention the walk-in closet?

Room Tip: Go for the Junior Suites on the 4th floor.

Our second visit to this hotel. In a good location in the old town, but difficult to find, even with satnav. Huge public spaces and rooms. Somewhat austere, but comfortable. Convenient parking, though access is not for the faint-hearted with some really tight corners (don't attempt it in a Range Rover) and expensive. Rooms are very well equipped, though beginning to show their age - our balcony doors had a handle that was falling off. Getting into town easy via garden, car-park and lift. Getting back after the car park closed at 2100 was a real struggle up a 1 in 5 hill. Didn't eat in the hotel as previous experience was that it was limited and expensive, but there's plenty of choice down in the old city. Pricey even at October discounts. High season looks horrendous, though.

Room Tip: Get detailed map before you attempt to find this place. Andorra is a very confusing place to drive.

Great time in this hotel that propose a wild range of spa services at a quite good price value. Service is good and attentive. The restaurent offers also good menu. Nice to have a free wifi. Very near boutiques and shipping area. Room cleaning needs to be improved, but I recommend it. Have fun

I choose this hotel over other 5* hotels in Andorra la Vella due to the location. It sits above the main streets of the city, with a nice outdoor pool and gardens. It was extremely easy to get down to the "city center": just across the hotel garden and down with a lift in a adjecent parking house. Rooms are large with great balconys facing the city / mountain view. Staff is friendly. Tried the restaurant a couple of times (dinner + lunch). It was absolutely ok but not the same 5* experience as the rest of the hotel. Good gym and easy parking right under the hotel. I would definetely stay here again.
