The setting of the hotel is just wonderful. Tucked away on the north west coast of Cyprus, it's an oasis of calm and tranquility with the beach on its doorstep. For a 3 star hotel, it is a fantastic deal. The decor od the rooms might well be a little dated, the facilities are just right on the money and nothing is too little or too much for the staff.

The breakfast (included) is just a cornucopia of locally sourced produce by the hotel itself. If you walk to the west of the beach, you will find a herd of goats, hens, rabbits and the fields and orchards charged with all the food that was served. We have had the best time here during our week and we cannot recommend the place enough if you like tranquility.

Room Tip: Choose a first floor bedroom to take advantage of the seaview and avoid prying eyes although we had...

We spent a few nights end of October in the (only) suite of the hotel, with our little son. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel benefits of a prime location. Just next to the sea, so that it is very easy to have a swim in the sea, anytime. The beach is very nice: A mix of sand and small stones, like on all beaches in the area (turtles are used to lay eggs on this beach). There is also a pool but we didn't use it. The room was very good, in the new wing of the hotel, with a beautiful view over the sea. It seems that most of the rooms have a sea view. The room never got too hot, as it faced North (the sea being north of the hotel). The service was excellent. The breakfast looked not fantastic at first sight. But it actually was composed of some products of good quality, many of them being traditional, organic, and produced by the hotel that owns land with olive trees, fruits trees, and is growing some vegetables... We enjoyed it. We actually took back home some delicious orange marmelade produced and sold by the hotel. We also had one lunch made of excellent salads. And we had two evening meals with buffet of local dishes of very good quality. A few less positive points: you will definitely need a car as the hotel is a little bit outside Polis and the roads are not very nice to be walked (especially at night). There are only very few games for kids. The pool seemed quite cold and doesn't seem to have a heating system. Also, we noticed a few times a not so nice smell around the hotel. Nothing very serious, though. Overall we recommend the place and enjoyed a lot our stay there.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the renovated wing of the hotel.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel and will most certainly return. If you are looking for a place to relax and chill out then this is it.
Although the hotel is slightly dated the view from the hotel and the tranquillity more than makes up for it. We stayed on a B&B basis and opted for a sea view room which is highly recommended. The breakfast was superb with a lot of the hotels home produced food, there was plenty of selection and their own marmalades were very good, and to sit out and eat on the patio area overlooking the sea was heavenly.
The hotel provides evening meals if required although we decided to try the restaurants in Polis town which we found very good, it is approximately 20 mins walk, if you are walking into town at night then a torch is a must as many parts of the roads near the hotel are unlit and no pavements.
The beach is literally 100 mts away at the end of the hotels lawned area, if you intend to go into the sea it is worth taking rubber shoes as the beach is pebbles and the sea has large stones in areas.
The reception staffs were very helpful with information regarding Polis and the surrounding areas; there is also free Wi Fi available in the reception area.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are well worth the extra, try to get a 1st floor one

Nice hotel located right on the beach in a residential area of Polis. The hotel mis somewhat faded and reminded me of a 1980's resort. Nevertheless it gives you a warm family feeling which is rare in this type of resorts. The food at the main dining room was excellent. Breakfast is rich with huge selection. Dinner buffet was excellent. Front desk staff and menagement was helpful, nice and welcoming. Rooms are very spacious and have patios or balconies. The grounds and beach area are beautiful. Only thing was the beds which are older and not so comfortable. Highly recommended for those who want a relaxing vecation on the beach, but away from the crowds.

The Natura Beach Hotel in Polis is in an excellent location by the beach on the north coast of Cyprus. It is a very comfortable hotel with lovely public areas, although the rooms are a bit dated. Breakfasts are very good indeed, using the hotel's home-produced food that can be enjoyed on the sun patio overlooking the beach. This is not a hotel for those seeking lively fun-filled nights, it is one for peace, tranquility and nature! Overall, a very good hotel at in a wonderful location.

Room Tip: Ask for a first floor sea view room to enjoy the sunsets over the bay.

This is a very pleasant small hotel. It has plenty of space and the location, a 20 minute walk from the Town, means it is quiet and peaceful but still easy to explore the local restaurants in town. Everything seemed to be well-run and the food just kept on coming at breakfast.

Unlike some others who have posted, we found the beds very comfortable.

Room Tip: It is worth paying the extra for a sea view.

Just returned from a week at the Natura. We booked this hotel as a result of the other reviews we had read.

It was an just under an hour transfer in a taxi which took us through Paphos and then up across the mountains to the resort of Polis.

We were impressed when we arrived at the hotel, the pretty gardens and sea views were wonderful. Checking in was quick and efficient -our room was clean and bright and was well maintained during our stay. The beds are quite hard, but we found some blankets in the wardrobe that we used under our sheets that made a difference to a good nights sleep! Everyone at the hotel is increadibly respectful of the peace and quiet night and day, so you always wake well rested.

Breakfast was lovely - sitting under the blue sky overlooking the sea with a great selection of delicious home made food.

We had just 7 nights and wanted to relax and unwind mostly, it was easy to slip straight into the laid back pace, you are never rushed or hurried. There are plenty of places to hide away and chill with a good book.

You need beach shoes if you want to swim in the sea - it is stoney under foot and without them painful getting in and out of the water!

Most evenings we walked into the village - it took us 20 mins door to door having a leisurely stroll. We did bring a torch as others had recommended and it was useful.

Lunch and evening meals at the hotel were good, a little pricey for some basic things like a sandwich - as is often the case with hotels generally. That said, it was always very fresh and tasty.

We loved that it was a small family run place, the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a wonderful time and look forward to going back. We would like to stay for 10-14 days and get a car to spend time exploring some of the wonderful beaches/villages and beauty that the island offers nearby.
