“Great walk”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

We followed the Poziaris (sp?) trail to the top of the falls then came down the Caledonia trail. Absolutely beautiful, stunning scenery and gorgeous stream. There were even trout in some of the pools in the stream. The falls themselves were wonderful.

“beautiful”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

this and the millomeris waterfalls are two of the most beautiful waterfalls of cyprus. Unlike millomeris, you need to walk to get there but the trail is worth it

“Take your time!”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

We walked this from the top (north) end as part of a circular walk from Psilo Dendro, initially along the Pouziaris nature trail.

As others have pointed out, the falls are not spectacular, but they offer a pleasant focus for a walk along the tiny river. This is one of many formal nature trails on Cyprus, and it's worth getting the official leaflet which provides information on all the plants, geology and other features identified with markers along the route. Keep your eyes open, as there is a lot to see.

There are benches at irregular intervals, with several near the falls themselves, but no refreshments stalls at any point - take your snack and drink with you.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

I have seen better in Yorkshire but this made a very pleasant change from the beaches. The 2km path can sometimes be challenging towards the end but it is worth the effort.

“A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE WALKING IN NATURE”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

You have to choises, either to star your walk from Troodos, down the hill to waterfall and continue to Platres, that is about one and half hour walking, or up the hill, starting from Platres up to the falls is about 45 minutes walk.Whatever you choose the nature is incredible!
No food, no toilets in the way and be carefull to have the proper shoes. If you like waterfalls, you can visit Millomeris falls at Platres,as well. Are amezing.
For lunch, if you don't want to choose <psilo dendro>, go to the tavern of the nearby beatifull village Phini .
