“Nice short trip along the river and medium sized waterfall”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

The place is well described, easy to get to the starting point by car. The walk is rather easy, but one has to take decent shoes. It's not a red heels path. When the water level is high in some places you might get a bit wet as not everywhere one can find a wooden bridge. It takes max 2 hours back and forth from the bottom, heard takes 3 hours from top to bottom.

“Pleasant forest walk, nice little waterfall.”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

This is a pleasant walk in the forest which takes you upstream (emphasis on stream) from a small car park beside a trout farm. It is not a well mark out trail and you have to cross over and back across the stream a few times. Easy enough to do once you don't have any kind of mobility problem. Not suitable for baby buggies and footwear a step up from flip flops would be advised.
The walk takes about 25 mins up to the waterfall which looks and sounds great but is on the smaller size when it comes to waterfalls. However its was a pleasant walk and we enjoyed the waterfall.

“quite nice but not really spectacular”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

A very pleasant walk of an hour or so from the car park to reach the waterfalls. (not really suitable for people with mobility issues) Didn't wish to be negative by only awarding 3 stars but, by the time you have hired a car from one of the popular resorts, driven there and then walked to the falls, I think you will be a little disappointed if you have ever been to the Alps or Niagara or even some of the very nice ones in Wales or Scotland, U.K.

“Unexpected, enjoyable and unspectacular”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

A walk to the Caledonia falls is a nice little walk in the woods - the slope is rising though and you have to cross the small river a couple of times; shoes slightly more robust than beach sandals are thus recommended. The walk in the fresh air of the green Troodos forest is a nice contrast to the heat down on the plaines and beaches. A very enjoyable little excursion of 1,5 hours in total. The waterfall may be a rare sight for Cyprus, but for most Europeans it is relatively unspectacular. Enjoy the hiking track together with friends as we did. The journey is the goal.
