I was fortunate to have booked into this hotel for a 5 night break over the New year 2013. The room I was pleasantly surprised to find had a double bed instead of the usual 2 singles, it was very clean and well maintained although I did hear some people stating minor issues with their rooms. The food was where this hotel really came into its own. The quality and standard was way beyond my expectations and the New Years Gala dinner was a delight. One "complaint" but is typical of all hotels anywhere I have ever visited in the world was the cost of the drinks. As a resident in Cyprus I know what I can pay for the local Keo but the hotel prices were somewhat extortionate. The staff were on the whole friendly although 1 morning I went to refill my coffee and came back to find my breakfast had been cleared away!! No problem as its buffet I just got some more. The girl in the bar was nice and friendly as was the lady who cleaned my room and I was pleased to offer a nice tip for both. Internet access is payable by the day, 3 days or week and at 5 Euro for 3 days was a lot cheaper than the 5 Euro I was expected to pay at another Hotel over Christmas for just 90 minutes!. The lady on reception also added an extra day (2 Euro) free of charge to my room.Overall a most enjoyable experience and one I would gladly partake of again.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in November 2013.
There was a construction going on next to the hotel.
We lived on the 1st floor in a modern but not very comfortable room.
Breakfast was qiute poor, Spa was terribly dirty and without any locks on the lockers!
Pool area outside was on construction aswell.
Many cats around :)

Reception area on first arrival was very pleasantly decorated for the festive season. Staff were welcoming and helpful. On first sight of our room we were pleasanty surprised. Considering we had chosen the cheapest room option it was amazing, a self catering suite with fully fitted kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher, a good size living room with large tv and balcony a massive bedroom with tv and balcony, massive bathroom with separate bath and shower and 2 large sinks and another separate WC. Although previous comments have been made about the location of this hotel we did not feel we were too far out from anywhere. Yes it does appear to be in the middle of a building site but unbelievably we had no problems with this. The view from our balcony was a side view of the sea, if you looked to the right you had the sea, if you looked to the left it was Lidl, but that didnt bother us at all, we just positioned our seats to face the sea. The bus service (number 615) was second to none, it was excellent, even on New Years Eve it was runnng until after 11pm, one way was to Coral Bay and the other was to the harbour which took about 10-15 mins at most. If you are going to use these regularly get a daily or weekly ticket rather than paying for separate journeys. We even used ours for the journey back to the airport which is the 612 from the harbour bus station. Just to add, we did have free transfers from the hotel included in our room price but it suited us to get the bus on our return journey as we wanted to watch the match on New Years day at the harbour and our given time for our transfer was far too early. Harbour to airport took half an hour. We did not eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food there, as Lidl was just over the road it was ideal to get some some essentials just for breakfast and snacks, drinks were cheap there too. We had a look in the spa area, it looked ok and there werent any kids making a din even though there were some in there and the treatment room looked very relaxing and professional. The only negative comments I have to make did not warrant a complaint to management - an oven glove or tea towel in the kitchen was needed - we had to use a hand towel and I coudnt understand why the pool area had no sun loungers around it whatsoever - but apart from that we had no complaints whatsoever and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: High floor, self catering suite.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and as a young couple it was a fantastic place to get away from it all and spend new year.

On arrival after a horrendous flight we were impressed with the decor in reception and the speedy check in. We loved our room straight away and cannot fault it on value or cleanliness. We had a basic studio room (in the summer I would not recommend this kind of room as you do not have a balcony and this is stated when booking). The room was large for 2 people, had a shower with three functions, high quality kitchen facilities and although I always say you don't go on holiday to watch tv the selection of English channels on the tv was great we had itv and bbc among others.

The food was fantastic! My partner is a very fussy eater but every night there is a variety of dishes to suit all palettes. As we were half board we had the New Year's Eve gala dinner at no extra cost and it was a great evening, however, if I had not been half board then I would not have paid the extra money for it as it was very expensive for a stand alone meal.

The spa facilities were good and we did not find the indoor pool too cold. We did spend most of our time in the jacuzzi and it is always busy, sometimes with children, but this did not bother us. The sauna is good and so are the plunge pools. The steam room does not work! The staff don't seem to bothered about this and on the final day I said to the lady it wasn't working and she said she had just turned it on so it would be steamy soon (clearly we had seen the lack of steam on all our other days!).

The entertainment at this hotel is minimal. They do always have a singer in the evening and the bar prices are very cheap.

The location is a little out of way from town but you can walk it in the day. I imagine in high season some of the bars enroute to the town would be a bit more happening but it was very very quiet at this time of year. We got the bus in one day and it didn't take long.

All in all an excellent stay.

An excellent hotel with good sea views and great food. As it was the week including New Years Day we weren't relaxing poolside but the facilities there look great. The staff are very helpful and friendly and hotel itself still new and fresh. The location next to the Toms on the Kings is good with easy access to the frequent local bus service and there is a LIDL almost directly across the main road for those who'd rather not pay hotel prices for their provisions! Thoroughly recommended - the prices quoted on TripAdvisor seem very high compared to what we paid via Hotels4U (and OnTheBeach) so do shop around!
