Worth a visit, the views are fab, the market itself was nice but we found it very expensive it's not like markets we know, the people were very friendly, we spent a few hours walking around but didnt get any bargains

Visited old town and market on damp January day. We really enjoyed browsing round stalls and shops, didn't find anyone too pushy, rather welcoming and friendly. Some very good value leather goods on offer.

There’s two parts to the market; The outside area of small streets looks like it was purpose built for trendy upmarket shops and boutiques a few years ago but either those business arrived and have now left, or they never arrived in the first place. As a result, most of the shops are shut or empty and there’s no one there. It’s a ghost town.

And the second part is the indoor area which is, in the main, full of places selling tourist tat. To be fair, some of things available are actually not that bad, but it’s hard to find them for all the garbage football shirts, cheap knock-off handbags and other associate cheap rubbish. Some of the silver jewellery looked okay however.

I actually visited twice in a week, the second time to see if I’d missed something. But I’d not – there’s little there and even fewer people. It’s the least busy market I’ve never been to.

Good old fashion market as you would expext with some modern shops. You get the bus from the harbour area up to Pafos center and the buses are very regular. Plenty of narrow streets with shops and restaurants and all the people are very friendly and helpfull.
