On first impressions we liked it because it was exactly as pictures show on website. The pool is picturesque, warm and felt very clean. It is cleaned regularly too. It seemed like a nice community with a mix of permanent and holiday residents. There is an informative handbook providing lots of necessary, alongside useful information about the apartment and area. There were several maintenance issues such as no bbq on arrival, faulty bulbs and tv..the property managers (who fortunately live onsite) were fantastic, responding immediately and resolving swiftly. They are friendly and offer personable and tailored service. The apartment is spacious enough although we were 5 not 6 and was well equipped for cooking, but not cleaning stuff which was a bit of a surprise as we have never experienced that before as seasoned self caterers. It is true that the town and nearest beach are both within walking distance, but fair to say not a simple stroll. We would suggest that the double bed is in the other room as that is more spacious, we found that we had to move the bed away from the wall to access the plug socket (to charge our many devices overnight) which meant we couldn't open the door properly. They provide a for which is good, the internet is perfect and the aircon is fanatastic. The only negatives we have is the toilets don't refill for a very long time after each flush as they only drip water in the cistern, we did not raise this as an issue so that may be remedied if you do. The fact that there are no anti bacterial, bleach or other sprays provided meant that we were in a constant battle with the summer barage of ants, obviously if we were staying more than a few days we would have bought the stuff ourselves. Finally we found that although there were ample sun loungers around the pool our apartment did not have any exclusively for it and therefore we only ever had access once after a day out when others had basically finished with thier day at the pool and even then only 3 were available as others leave there towels and toys overnight every day. If you live there we could appreciate you may not want to share with other random strangers but as they populate a large area of the poolside even when they are not present it seemed a bit selfish of them, as for example we had some of our own lounging chairs but no space to use them. We would perhaps suggest that there is a policy that permanent residents when not using their loungers(especially for days at a time) leave them within their garden/balcony and holiday makers should not totally monopolize and leave their towels all night and day. Overall it was a lovely stay in a friendly safe environment with lots of underground or off street parking!
