“Traditional & very welcoming”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

A lovely traditional restaurant, we found the best selection of vegetarian dishes, the owner even made us a pasta special that was not on the menu & it was superb, the vegetarian moussaka is out of this world. Homemade food using fresh ingredients. The family that own it are lovely people, very friendly & welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We visited 5 times in all & would recommend this as a great place to eat.

“A traditional meze with added extras”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

We looked at some tavernas to give our friends their first taste of Cyprus meze, and picked one which looked fine (no tv, traditional tables, lovely open fire on a chilly March night). The standard bill of fare was very well cooked, and while we chatted I remarked on some Greek dishes my friends had never tasted. Lo and behold some samples appeared with all the rest. The suckling pig was the finest pork I have ever eaten. Perhaps Panikos is becoming used to British tourists wanting to get through a meal quickly, but when I requested a 5-10 minute break between courses in the Greek way he was happy to oblige. The village wine at 7 euro a big carafe was superb (with no preservatives so no hangover even after a few carafes)

“Excellent!!!!”
Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

As we arrived with my family we were met by Panikos and his good sense of humor ! Some of us were vegetarians and a bit worried that since Cyprus main dishes have meat in them we would not be able to find something that satisfied us ...... Well we were in for a treat we ordered a Cypriot maze and Panikos made sure that there was plenty for the vegetarians to eat also ..... Everything was delicious , we even met the chef who was Dora the wife of Panikos who was also as pleasant . This restaurant is very family oriented since it is ran by a family . You will definitely feel welcomed there .... The service was excellent the restaurant itself was very clean and of course when we got the bill at the end we were surprised to see that it was cheaper than what we thought . I was sorry I couldn't go back again since i was only there for a long weekend but will be going back soon when I'm in the area . This is a restaurant that I would recommend to all
