Fairly small but very well laid out. Used to be bird park but now have lions and tigers and other animals.

We went with mr.1.5 and mr.3 years old on Saturday morning (twenty minute drive from Paphos centre-port, very good roadsigns to it and nice scenery). The ticket for adults was 12 euro each and for mr.3 was 7. We were given a map which showed the position of everything and everyone by numbers. Owls, emu, ostriches, parrots, eagles, sheep, bulls, deers, reindeer, free ranging peacocks (!) and lizards, camel, giraffes, tiger, lions and many more. We did not have time for the bird/parrot show but we enjoyed the onsite park with swings, springs and slides. There is also a restaurant for which I cannot comment as we did not enter it. It looked good though. Depending on pace it can take from 1-3 hours to see everything and read the labels. Very clean areas and you can use your stroller (I used a double buggy) or a scooter or bicycle. There is also an experience the farm-life where kids can feed and touch the chickens for instance (onsite toilets and handwashing available). Overall, a nice outing with the kids with impressive animals well looked after.

Took a trip to the Bird and Animal Park with my grandchildren, they had a wonderful time, and have to say really thoroughly enjoyed it myself too. Would go back there, and I understand that some people have their Wedding Receptions there!!!

This is now called Paphos Zoo.
As well as the fantastic birds there are now larger animals including lions and Tigers.
The animals look healthy and the staff seem committed to providing a happy environment for them.

The Parrot and Owl show is a must for children and fascinating to see the birds close up

A good little Zoo with many varied animals, well worth a visit for half a day, advertised Elephants but aren't any yet, the Giraffes are impressive though.
