Needs a serious cash injection and dragging into the 21st century!! We couldn't even make toast and boil a kettle at the same time as there was only one socket in the kitchen.

The furniture is old, the bathrooms grimed and the gardens overgrown and you can't move the poolside umbrella as they're set in concrete.

But the staff are great, we had maid service everyday, clean towels every other day and clean sheets 4 times in the one week. The only noise issue comes from the rose pub across the road. Some good music and some really crap.

We would recommend it on location and staff alone, just don't expect much more than a place to rest your head a nod you'll be fine.

We stayed here for a weekend (room 105).
The room was huge with 2 twin bedrooms and a massive lounge. Kitchen quite run down and basic but everything worked. In fact the whole place was just a bit tired but the appartment was clean and tidy and the air con worked well.
The location is superb, just 1 road back from the quay side (dont expect sea views). I suspected that it would be noisy in the evening given all the restaurants and the inevitable sports bars but was surprised- the area was much more laid back than expected come late evening.
You are also within easy walking distance of the mosaics.
There is parking on site (but you need to get an entrance key) and a huge free car park round the corner if needed.
The reception staff were pleasant and helpful and you can have a huge breakfast that will last you the day (for 4 euros).
When you check in be aware that the room safes need a key which you get from reception and there is a small fee (1.75 per day I think) which could mount up if you stay for long- I think this should really be included in your rental fee but it isnt.

Room Tip: Room 105 was huge and quiet

We arrived very late in the early hours of the morning and given room 107, even though it was dark , I could still see that our room was restricted by a 50 ft palm tree !! Lol
I went to see the night porter, who told me, if it is ok, Please go to bed and see Mr Stavros in the morning, the owner. This I did, was given a room with a pool view as asked for ROOM 307, and enjoyed every minute of my holiday after that !! 2x weeks :-)))

stayed a week at the daphne, first time in paphos and the location was great! close to everything, just a short walk to the harbour and the bus station is just around the corner aswell, 1 euro to go anywhere in paphos. The apartment was very dated but always kept clean as the maids came in nearly every day, kitchen ok used kettle and toaster but didnt use the small oven/cooker from beamish!! looked very dodgy! we were on the ground floor and had a little garden which there were 2 lovely friendly cats there every day that i loved to feed!!! The pool area was fine but could do with some updating! and there was always a lounger available. I would stay here again as it was such great location especially if u are on a tight budget this is a fab place to stay. There is a few pubs opposite but they were fine and the music stops at 1am anyway so that did not bother us. Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpfull any problems and they are happy to help. good place to visit in paphos is the zoo, reception organise for you and ther is a free bus to take you and return, 15 euro. If you come across the fluffy ginger black and white cat he is adorable and so friendly, he loves a little stroke!!!

We had a week here, knowing the area and me not being fully fit, we wanted something in the heart of the town and flat! The hotel is dated as others have said but clean and with very spacious accommodation. The air con was brilliant, that ooh feeling when you walk in after being out in blazing heat was worth the price of the room. The harbour, massive supermarket, bars restaurants and bus station are all on the doorstep and our room had a view over the pool and sea.
For value for money this place cannot be beaten, BUT, we would not go back because of the pub over the road. Five of the seven nights the pub had live " music" which was so loud it could have been in the room with us. One of the nights a band was on with a base so low the furniture moved, and on the Saturday night it went on until 2 am! There was no way any sleep was possible until it was over, but then you had the noise of the pub trying to clear out the customers. I have no idea why this is allowed but it ruined our week knowing we were going to have to put up with it.

A friend and I stayed at Daphne for 5 nights and it was ideal for both our needs and our budget!
Being in Cyprus for a friends wedding, we had many friends in other hotels - luckily Daphne is 5 mins away from the bus station. The location is very convenient for people who want to be out and about every day. Our apartment was basic but spacious and clean. Staff were lovely and friendly too. Happy hour cocktails were only €2!
My only criticism was the pool which needs a refurb... Overall, a nice cheap and cheerful place.
Top Tips: The 612 bus is only €1 to the airport and the 615 bus takes you right up to Coral bay which is a nice beach. An all day bus ticket is €3! We saved a lot of money because we rarely needed taxis.
Also there is a frozen yoghurt place round the corner that we went to everyday because it was soooo tasty!

Fantastic location with secure gated parking. A dated property that really could do with a little bit of TLC. The room was clean but furniture very dated and basic. Didn't use the kitchen as its condition was a little bit wanting. Regretfully the room we had was very noisy because of the pub across the road (very late night loud music). Staff were friendly and helpful. For our 1 night stay it was fine but would not want to spend a week there.
