My wife and I stayed at Aquamare last weekend, it was our first time staying at this hotel, and we were not disappointed. Reviews from other tripadvisor members were helpful to choose this hotel.Hotel is on the beachfront, it is about 4 to 5 km from Paphos port. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The room was very convenient, very clean, the only suggestion is to change the T.V in the room. Breakfast was satisfied.Pool area nicely kept. Beach area in front of hotel not the best. Will stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view room.

We went to this hotel for our 32 wedding anniversary which was on 14/02/13, absolutely brilliant, The hotel was very clean, staff were excellent and very friendly, the food from breakfast to dinner was five star, a great variety of cuisine, it was nice and quiet at night times, towels changed every day, beautiful decor and surrounding grounds/beach. You could take a leisurely walk right along the seafront from the hotel into paphos harbour roughly 30 mins strolling taking the other lovely hotels and grounds, or the bus 3 euros return, not quite right outside roughly 100 yds either side. One downside they still haven`t moved on from putting toilet paper in a bin instead of down the loo, but bin changed every day.

Room Tip: Make sure if you get a standard seaview room, its not a sideview one, it pays to tell them and they will move you!!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Aquamare. I travelled with my husband and 2 girlfriends. Prior to our arrival, I had emailed to request adjacent rooms which was given to us. The rooms had connecting doors.

Breakfast was fantastic with heaps of variety. You could request eggs to be cooked to order the way you liked. Giannis the cook for a few of the days we were there was wonderful. He was friendly, chatty, helpful and made us feel very welcomed.

The gym and spa facilities were good.

The ladies at reception could be more helpful and friendly. I had a map of Paphos and wanted to know if there was a bus back to the hotel from town and girl at reception just told me to catch one from the harbour without even indicating on the map where it was.

We hired a car for 3 days for 27 euros per day from reception. The car was dropped off and picked up from the hotel which was convenient.

The walk from Aquamare to Paphos harbour takes around 40 minutes along the coast. A very nice walk.

The rooms were a bit dated but was very clean and spacious.

Just returned from 2weeks at this hotel which was first class, The food and variety of choice was really on the basis of a five star restuarant. Weather firing the two weeks varied from 65 -- 75 and no rain. A must for visitors is the mosaic area in Paphos which is really good and takes about 3 hours. The next thing I would recommend is the 3 euro bus pass which covers a good area of the island. Lastly I would like to congratulate the Aquamare on the staff, the are superb,I would mention Marina who is real character. Overall excellent value with Qwerty travel.

Room Tip: Sea view if possible, very little noise from building site next hotel, it never bothered us.

We booked this through Qwerty travel after seeing it offered on trave Zoo. The offer included an upgrade to halfboard and we paid extra for a sea view room. We arrived around 2200hrs ( travel on easy jet, flight times were not the best but it was reflected in the price), we were told that as we had missed dinner we could have a voucher for lunch to be used when it suited us, which I thought was good, the room was nice but was on the ground floor, we asked if there was any chance of a higher floor, we had to wait until the following day but were given another nice room on the second floor with a great sea view.
The room had all the usual facilites includine tea/coffee making facilites, safe hair dryer etc. The Hotel has large indoor and outdoor pools, gym,spa facilities .Staff were freindly and helpful. The Hotel is located at the far end of Poseidonos Ave approx 3K from Paphos harbour.
The food was of a high standard, dinner was very good with a wide choice of well cooked foods, we would go back for the food. With it being early in the season it was quite quiet, which suited us we did have a noisy Sturday and Sunday morning as Christening party were staying, boy were they loud!
Overall it was a very good week not really anything to fault, there is a hotel being built next door, we did not find this excessivly noisy, ( and our wing was next door to it), the info in the room is a bit lacking it basically say if you want to know anything, ring reception, we only fond out after a few days that there was a library and info area, with comuters on the first floor,
We had a taxi booked for the airport at 1930hrs, we had decided to use our meal voucher for lunch, checkout was 1200 and we asked if we could delay this until after lunch (1400) we were told this would cost 20 euros, which when the Hotel is full you can understand ,so we left our luggage in the unsecured luggage room, not a major issue but could have been dealt with better. This is a nice time to visit Cyprus good weather but not too hot, and not too busy, will definitely return to the island
