If you like visiting Monasteries you MUST go to Agios Neophytos. The Monastery is at a big mountain in Tala village it is spectacular. I am sure will have a unique experience. Even if you do not like monuments and Monasteries you will be surprised with this!

The trip up the Monastery was brilliant the views breath taking We also stopped a lovely waterfall. The monastery itself was beautiful the colours of the icons were magnificent. this is well worth a visit. You can book this trip at your welcome meeting. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. A trip to be remembered.

We chose this year to visit the Monastry via an open top old converted London bus as part of a 3 hour tour and so when we went to the site it was lovely and quiet and out of the ususal tour hours which was great for us as we would see everything in peace and also parts of the Monastry were open that we couldn't see last time on an arranged tour. You do have to pay a euro to go into part of it and also the museum, but it is for the up keep and worth visiting. Just be aware that when you enter through the door that at the other end you will have to crawl out if you are tall as I only just got out and I am tall and wide, but everyone came out, so just be aware, but I am sure they will let you back out the other way if you can't make it. They have quite a lot to see and listen to your guide as everything will be clearer and it has great photo opportunities. It is worth the historical visit. There are seats around for you to rest as it is a steep incline and there are rest rooms, a coffee shop and a visitors shop, etc, so everything you will need in your visit.
