We took the half day trip on the Hop-on Hop-off bus and were delighted when we stopped at this beautiful monastery. We were free to wander around and just absorb the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the site. The cave where the Saint lived for many years is very impressive and there are some delightful wall paintings. The cloistered area was cool and welcoming and it was inspiring to see elderly priests enjoying the setting amid beautiful trees and flowers. There is a small shop and a cafe here, and there are toilets too.
