We came to this Villa as two families of 4, each made up of 2 adults and two boys aged 12 and 7 years old. We booked for 4 nights, which is just as well as any more would have caused issues for us.
Starting with the location, it's described as a 15 minute walk from the Main Street in Coral Bay. It's 30 minutes, which may cause issues for some.
The villa it's self is two, two bedroom flats/ apartments, which if I'm honest threw us. There was no real room for all 8 of us to be together as it was two floors made to cater for 4 each floor.
The bath rooms and toilets are clean and work, although the showers are actually in the bath and not walk in.
The living room downstairs is barely furnished, and what is there is old and worn.
The downstairs kitchen is well equipped, the upstairs one has had two single beds randomly thrown in there to make an additional bedroom. This has no air conditioner and some may find it excessively hot to sleep in.
The 4 bedrooms are a reasonable size, with the two downstairs rooms having double beds. One of the rooms bed could not take two adults as the it was broken underneath and had been repaired by bricks holding it up.
This same room had the safe. The safe was not secured to anything and could easily be stolen with all your valuables within.
There is a decent amount of wardrobe space, however you would have to be 7 feet tall to use some of them.
All the bedrooms are air conditioned, but these units in my opinion are old, noisy and inefficient. The owner also on our arrival requested a 5 euro per day charge per unit ( 20 euro a day) which was not on the site as part of the conditions. Beware of this.
We didn't pay it.
The inside if the villa was clean, but lacked lighshades, and bedside lamps. The high specification design as described on the web site was no where to be seen, with everything looking as if it was from a car boot sale.
Outside, a nice pool and surround is evident, however, the pool furniture is old and in various states of disrepair.
The sea view is dominated by a dump which is the back garden. Shocking!
The BBQ was with a pile of rubbish which was quite amazing.
Overall, a poorly prepared place, with a lot of potential. I would estimate £30000 needs to be spent on it to get it up to the standard required to justify the amount charged per night.
I would not pay any more than £80 a night as it is, we all feel disappointed as it is not as described.
Would I stay here again, no way!
