My husband and I dined here on our second wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the ambience. The open air atmosphere and mostly white decor reminded us of restaurants we have eaten at in Miami. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. To start, we ordered a plate of three local cheeses cooked three ways. We also ordered roasted eggplant (aubergine) with feta. Both were beautifully presented and tasted equally as pleasing. For entrees, we ordered the lamb chops and octopus risotto. The lamb chops came as a very large portion. The chops were cooked perfectly and had an accompaniment of mint chimichurri sauce on the side. The octopus risotto was also a generous portion and I would definitely recommend for anyone who has not yet had octopus. My husband is a very adventurous eater, having had octopus before, but we both agreed that this octopus was cooked in such a way to please even the most timid seafood eaters. We ordered a homemade brownie a la mode for dessert. As we expected, dessert too was well done. The brownie was warm, moist and flavorful and the homemade ice cream finished off a perfect meal.
The staff was extremely friendly and personable. Many different nationalities were represented amongst the staff including Romanian, Portugese, South African and Cypriot. All were very upbeat and encouraged us to relax and take our time. We both felt welcomed and appreciated by them. Lastly, this restaurant is a very good value. We ordered two appetizers, two entrees, a bottle of water and four alcoholic beverages and were pleased with our bill in comparison to what it would cost in a comparable level establishment in any major U.S. city. Sunset Breeze has only been open six weeks to date, but I predict it will be a success. If you are looking for high quality food and service for a reasonable price, this is your place.
