Good stuff is the quality of the construction. We had a big room (superior suite) for 95 euros with breakfast. Veeery spacious and nice but the airconditioning was very loud during the night. Not many common places appart from the reception to go. Parking is half finished. Not much atmosphere. Garden is not finished and the grass is not grown yet. Breakfast could have been better. Not bad but not a breakfast for a hotel that normally charges 245 euro for a suite. I wouldn't pay more than what i did for that place to stay and i wouldn't stay again there for 95 euros in a double room as i think is overpriced for what it is.

My wife, my youngest sons and I stayed at the Amphora for two nights. I had booked for a 1-bedroom suite but we were gratefully upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite. The room was wonderful, with an LCD TV in each bedroom and one more in the hall. The beds and bathroom facilities were great as well. There was a big balcony facing the garden (still in progress) and the sea. Wonderful location! But there were basic things missing from the room, such as tea and coffee bags (there was only a kettle), glasses, a shelf in the bathroom where we could put our toothpaste etc, a bottle of water, mini bar...
Staff was trying to help but was taking them long, as I guess they are still short-staffed. The breakfast was OK, but the air condition in the dining room was not on and this was hard for the hot summer days of July in Cyprus.
There is plenty of underground parking space.
I would wait for at least another season before recommending it to other people.

Fantastic room (superior suite) with amazing view of the Paphos harbor and the susnset. Minimal decor, very clean and spacious. Excellent value for money for our five days holiday at the hotel. The hotel itself has recently been completed and surely lacks of green area. The gardens are being land-scaped, however this was not a disadvantage as there are other aspects that even things out (view, position, sunset etc). Staff was friendly especially Nicos the pool boy who was very helpful and understanding. There is an outstanding cafe adjacent to the hotel called Suite 48 which we highly recommend for a 'unique experience' (prices of the drinks are a bit expensive but you will be well compensated by the setting and the view either during the day or at night).

Room Tip: rooms on the east side offer the best view

We were so impressed with this hotel. Everything was top notch. Pool area is stunning. Most comfortable mattress and super quality sheets. The lady at check in was amazing. We got free wifi. I honesty loved our stay at this hotel. Close enough to action to walk but far enough to have peace and quiet. Def recommend the place and can't wait to stay again

The rooms were clean, breakfast was good. However, there was a lot of noise during midday and it was impossible for us to rest.We complained to the reception. We managed to get in touch with the man responsible for the maintenance, but he told us that they would stop in a few minutes after they finish their job.We tried to talk to the manager of the hotel. He was available and they promised that he would contact us on his arrival, which they never did. In the room there were no glasses or cups, although they had an electric kettle. The refrigerator was empty. They never replace the toilet paper. For soap they provide one tiny soap for 2 overnight staying. They did not change any of the towels in the room. The free wi fi was not working properly.
We were really expecting a much better service from a 4* hotel.

As everyone says the hotel is not quite finished, however it did not spoil our holiday. The staff were polite, helpful and a delight to deal with. They arranged for our airport transfers to the hotel free of charge and everything ran smoothly.
The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms all face the sea and the gardens were landscaped while we where there and in the next few weeks they are going to be lovely. The pools are super, there is a shallow one for children and larger one for adults, both are warm and cleaned daily.
The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Lovely views of the mountains.
The bar in the grounds of the hotel called Suite 48 has a lovely atmosphere in the evening, for drinking your cocktails while enjoying the scenery.
I would certainly stay there again however when it is completely finished I fear it will be out of my price range. A superb holiday.

Room Tip: Rooms 600-700 have a superb view of the sea.
