“good for a visit”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

it is worth a visit if you have time. I would give priority to ancient monuments in pafos though as they are more unique than this

“Great if you like Icons.”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

Really only interesting if you are interested in Icons and other relics from churches. You only need about half hour or so to visit.

“A small museum with old icons”
Reviewed December 28, 2013

The Bizantine Museum of Paphos is situated in the newest part of the city, Ktima (Pano Paphos), close to the Patriarchy Church. The museum itself isn't so big, but there are a few artefacts that are quite unique, like the oldest icon preserved in Cyprus, the one of Agia Marina, dated from the 8th-9th century. There are also some old priests clothes and a collection of rare religious books. The entrance is 2 EUR and the photos are not allowed.
