“Lovely place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

We had lunch on top of the hill near the church overlooking the beach and came down afterwards... Lovely little place, clean and not too busy.
Great place to chill out away from it all.

“A quiet day out,”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2013

lovely spot for a quiet day out, whether you want to soak up the sun, snorkel in the wide bay, cool off in the water or stroll out onto the headland or the harbour breakwater.
A small beach bar offers snacks, cold drinks and ices. Or you could walk up to St Georges and visit one of the restaurants.

“A quiet, unregimented beach with good sand.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

This is a small beach with shallow water, but be careful as the surface is uneven and it is easy to overbalance. Sun beds and parasols available for 2Euros each. Good to be able to have a bed and umbrella each as we like to keep in the shade. Nearby cafe with very helpful staff. Great ice cream cones at 2Euros each. Even possible to have a tray of tea/coffee on the beach. Only problem was we could not find any toilets, but there are some good ones at the top of the hill.
