Me and my fiance went on this trip for my birthday in June and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The entertainment from Mathew and the girls was very good, you can tell from watching them that they really enjoy the work they do and also working with each other. When we arrived we were handed a glass of champagne and asked to take our shoes off (I wasn't expecting this and had i know i would have worn socks, but understand it is to protect the floors on the boat). We were then shown to a table on the upper deck where we would sit for the evening. Once we set sail all the local drinks were free of charge for the duration of the cruise. We watched all the entertainment that was provided which as i mentioned before was very good and Matthew tried to involve everyone even the Russian guests on board. The food that was served was very good also and the firework display at the end of the evening from the other boat was great it just finished off the evening perfectly. It was also good that it was from the other boat as you had a better view and were not straining your neck to look at them. For the price we paid we found it was very good value for money as much food as you can eat drink that you can drink and quality entertainment all for just below €50 per adult. Will defiantly go again.

Had a fantastic evening on the Sea Star for the Show Night. The entertainment was excellent (as always), the food was good and although not to my fussy 6 year olds taste, the staff did their best to accommodate him too. Very much value for money - will definitely be going again when I'm in Paphos again next year.

Lazy day Cruise. Get there early if you want pick of the limited sun beds!!having said that we did get a good seat and everybody does move about a lot. We enjoyed the day but wished that we could have spent more time swimming. The food was not brilliant. Very dry chicken and tasteless pasta, rice, bread, potatoes and basic salad. We went towards Aphrodites rock because the sea was rough and it was windy. The entertainment was, well..... Entertaining!!! No, seriously, he was a good fun bloke if you like that sort of thing. We did thoroughly enjoy the day overall, but not great food and a little more time for swimming would have been appreciated.

We went on the Sea Star for a 'half day' cruise up the coast, after reading about the lovely boat, the local music that would be played adding up to a 'peaceful and enjoyable' trip. Local drinks were included and a small lunch which, for €48.00, seemed a good deal. We booked for a Saturday departure as we were told by the tour rep at the harbour that this would be a good day, being 'changeover' day it would be less crowded. However, they also explained that they never let the boats get crowded as they realise this can be very annoying for 'paying guests'.

When we got on the boat on Saturday morning, there were about 20 of us sat around the various decks - one strange thing is that you have to remove your shoes (including Crocs!) and the deck itself was too hot to stand on! Lots of people were keeping their feed off the deck and running across from one shady part to another. High heels I can understand but rubber Crocs? Oh well, rules are rules.

The boat itself is lovely and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the seating areas all are, how clean and tidy the main Salon is and the quality of the furnishings. Then, about 10 minutes before departure, around 15 'women' turned up, dressed in either very skimpy clothes or in totally outrageous attire - almost looked like a circus had hit town. We eventually surmised that they were Russian 'lap dancers' from one of the various clubs in Paphos, all on a 'girls day out'. They all began posing in an extremely suggestive manner that, if it were a private trip, would be fine. But on a public boat, with various couples scattered around the boat, their behaviour was ludicrous! Coming up behind you (about 1 foot away), pulling up their 'skirts' (large belts) and then bending over backwards whilst pretending to 'kiss' one of the (unsuspecting) men directly in front of them - there were quite a few fed up wifes / girlfriends within a matter of minutes! It was, to put it mildly, embarrassing.

Oh well, never mind, enjoy the day. But just as we were about to leave, around 50 - 60 Russian school kids arrived! Aged between 8 - 14, they simply ran riot all over the boat and started screaming / squealing like all kids do. There were no teachers with them, just one 'carer' who didn't even speak Russian. Our quiet trip was descending into a farce...

Off we set along the coast, enjoying the sunshine and ignoring the screaming kids, when some sort of 'entertainment rep' came up on the top deck and started playing music at high volume - traditional Greek stuff such as 'Agadoo' by Black Lace, 'The Tide is High' by Blondie, etc. So off to the bar we went, where they were now having to use a queuing system, due to the hoards of kids. But Russian kids are an even worse nightmare than most British ones - no idea what a queue is, certainly no intention of standing in one! The only bright spot was the barman kept giving them a clip around the ear and telling them to get back in line, or simply ignored their demands (with fists banging on the bar!) for "Coca Cola - now!"

As for the boat trip, we anchored near Coral bay but you couldn't get in the water, as all the kids were jumping off and clambering onto the boat - if you went for a swim, you would probably have some kid land on your back! We never got to see half the attractions promised as they couldn't get the kids back on board (should have just left them in the sea...), however the lunch was quite good. Except, again, the idea of forming a queue, from either the Russian kids or the Russian 'ladies', was obviously an alien concept. I have never seen such rude, imbecilic people in my life and, to give the Captain his due, he eventually banned the women from any more antics up on the top deck and simply dragged the kids back into the line for lunch.

We were obviously unlucky with the number of Russians on board that day, although it has to be said that they are all over the place in Paphos and quite easy to spot - just look out for an arrogant, rude individual with loads of money and you can probably make an educated guess. The boat itself is nice but, with their idea of entertainment and 'non crowded', I simply could not recommend this trip. There is a smaller schooner we went on twice, only holds about 25 people and this was much nicer - plus cheaper. I would have to say that, if you are going on the Sea Star, wait until the last minute and climb on board just before departure (and pay on board), if the boat is full of screaming kids you may want to give it a miss!
